Does anyone know what CCP's fifth main project is ?

So far we only know about:

- EvE online

- Dust 514

- Eve Valkyrie

- World of Darkness

- ??????????????

Eve online is :

A) mining simulator B) glorified chatroom C) spreadsheets online

D) CCP Games Pay to Win at skill leveling, with instant gratification

I do believe that those are outstanding PLEX. So at $20 USD, that is ~100,00 PLEX.

See "3.7.2 In-game currency" for that 2 million probably being PLEX.

You can see a $ 40 million increase in Research and Development cost since the 1st January 2013

So what are they making next to dust, valkyrie, wod ?

I can't imagine they would put that amount of money in their so far failed Carbon technology, they even got Dust514 to run on the Unreal engine because of what we saw during the launch on Incarna.

(also: the collector edition sold really well, shame about the unfair pre-order market price up though, and I think they got 4000 boxes maybe left, so that's why it's on sale so often)

looking at this list:
1) Eve: spreadsheets in space
2) Dust: FPS
3) WoD: What is the style of this game? Look at my butt?
4) Vakyrie: spaceship arcade

So atm we have 2 spaceship games, 2 ground games.
2 games with 'first person' control (Dust + Valkyrie), and 2 with 'look at my butt' (Eve + WoD)

So what do we NEED?
5) something about real submarines?

OMG seeing as CCP's Royalties and Licenses more then doubled and the Research cost contribute mostly to the years loss,
it could be something TV network related.

We already seen a MMO go towards a tv network: defiance with former CCP Oveur (Nathan Richardsson) going to Trion to work on that.

Didn't they talk about doing stuff for mobile devices? Whatever mobile means today, looking at my tablet which handles the EVE client just fine at minimal settings. Only thing missing is touch support.

This could maybe be it to, that little nvidia tegra3 display on stage during fanfest a few years back was impressive, plus CCP Unifex (Jon Lander) is researching mobile developments.

It would be interesting if WIS became a second full game like Second Life, associated with EVE like DUST. It would allow for complete use of PVE, PVP and the like in a WOW-like environment.

They did it to boost creativity. Hilmar himself said that. Apparently big teams were getting too comfy and comfy devs is last thing CCP needs. CBA to look for a linky, I'm sure somebody will oblige.
