RAW23.... EVE Online has it's very own Sherlock Holmes.

That, my good fellow, was very impressive and very well presented.

Bobby's not on my bad side. Quite the opposite in fact.

I actually have slightly mixed feelings about this. After the moment of satisfaction when all the pieces fell together and after the thrill of the chase had worn off I slightly regretted spending so much of my time looking after people who were going to make a silly investment without doing any due diligence at all, and who were falling into one of the oldest MD traps, at the expense of someone who I like a lot (although it's unlikely he would have actually scammed on this one as the potential for pulling in much more would have been pretty good after paying this one back). Not to mention the lost opportunity costs from about five hours when I could have been trading, which probably amounts to a couple of billion or more.

I have been trying to get people on MD to invest sensibly for some four years now with pretty much zero success and the great irony of this is that BS/BB is one of the only people who does invest with proper care. Of course, he's also one of the reasons care is needed!

those who believe there are two types of EVE player and those who do not.

If I thought you needed it, i would have chipped in with some ISK to make your time worthwhile :)

I wish I could be bothered to try and track people through their posting and character history. There's someone i'd very much like to find if they are still playing, though i suspect they have bought and sold many chars since my dealings with them. Someone should take this detective work up as a paid job Cool

MMmmm , think i am gonna dig through my accounts now and look for a char called blueprint seller as he appearantly has the same NAV , about the same source of ingame income and is mostly known on MD for loaning out isk, i'm getting paranoia Lol .

Beware, Flakeys. You could find out that you are a dirty alt... of yourself! Lol

The fun thing is, in this very second page there's somebody else who could be another BB alt. He made a cameo post with... a certain look.

People use similar "evidence" to "prove" I'm a James 315 alt, who is supposedly a Mittens alt. In fact, I add "u's" to some words quite frequently on purpose just to muddy the waters because it's funny. After all, surely no one would give Currin Trading so much isk, other than to shill bid investments higher, right?

As for Bad Bobby and Blueprint Seller, I can confirm they are different people. BS basically snapped up the corp ticker for giggles. There are lots of EVE players I am close with who post on the forums and in game chats when I do... because we're on similar schedules silly lol

See Bio for isk doubling rules. If you didn't read bio, chances are you funded those who did.

I can shrug off being accused of being Bad Bobby, but the idea of being in some way associated with you makes me feel quite nauseous.

Well if i had to choose between being a BB or an erotica alt i wouldn't hesitate a second to go for a BB alt Blink.

BB's one of the few scammers who isn't behaving like he invented the wheel or a massive attentionwhore unlike 'some other' scammers , i quite like that fellow .

Well there goes any hope I ever had of becoming a 'real MD guy'

I thought if I invested a little here and there doing my research. Got into T2 manufacturing and trading and did my research. AND I then did a load more research, one day I could be one of you lot. I am just not smart enough to do what Raw just did.

You did the right thing here, even if it isn't BB a collateralised loan should really be held by a 3rd party - it's trivial to set up. If you keep quiet because you think it's a likeable scammer you're effectively assisting.

Having said that I had a private collateralised loan with BB & shares in Ugly Toys just before the T4U theft - both of which I think I managed to cash out of successfully. Definitely the private loan, I'm hazy on the other. Despite the T4U scam which I lost a couple of billion in, all my dealings with BB were positive. He gave good advice, I think he put me in touch with you at one point over a proposition, and he took some BPOs off my hands that I despised (Hyperions lol).

That Blueprint Seller character has been mistaken for one of my alts in the past too when I was heavily into research, simply because I have various "Blueprint" variation characters. It's pretty obvious from the posting style its someone else, but it used to annoy the hell out of me in trade channels and scc depending on which character I was on :P

Someone who has more successful investments/deals (in terms of isk per hour) than unsuccessful ones (measure of success is debatable)

Someone who can follow enough of the Meta to have a decent grasp on what the heck is going on in the background.

Someone who is jaded enough to enjoy bitching at everyone else on the forum :-)
