I care more about art than graphics. Graphics will get better regardless. Art has steadily gotten worse.

Whoah! Big difference there. I'm back on my old computer since my gaming rig bit the dust and on the master harddrive I still have the Revelations II client on here. So I went through the logs and there are some old screenshots. It's cool to see things like they were and how they are today.

In computer terms, 'graphic elements' are anything from planets to the user interface. They consist of individual pieces of artwork.

Mkint is saying that the quality of the elements (size, lighting/shading, etc) are improving, but the art behind them, to his eyes, is not.

I'll agree to disagree. Some of what I understand were relatively newer ships, but still added before I started in 2009 became some of my favorite hull designs. I also quite like the scorpion and maller as they are now. Personal preference I guess.
