I would echo Subsparx on this, there have been far too many people (like Goons recruitment & relocation scams) taking 'security deposits' and shipping containers and walking away with it. Someone is going to have to go on a leap of faith here and give The Connoisseur the second-chance he deserves IMHO.

The Connoisseur has a self admitted track record of doing some nasty things to corps and its members. If he is legit he should be willing to man up put his money where is mouth is. If he is telling the truth and wants to start over there should be no issue and the collateral will be returned at a later date.

Sadly that would just cause his rehabilitation to regress, for my corp is a training ground for f#ckery and our alliance one of non-consensual combat and mercenary pew.

I am personally just not at the same level of rock-bottom and recovery yet on my transgressions against other capsuleers, as The Connoisseur is. Also, I don't think its good to tempt an alcoholic by giving him a job in a liquor store... (i.e. a pvp alliance). The only way he is going to get beyond this is to settle down in a pve corp or alliance surrounded by 'good' people as a more positive influence IMHO.

Look, if you don't want to give this guy a shot at a second chance, don't. But don't get in the way of his recovery with your negative waves dude.

I know how you feel.

I had to give up chess, because slaughtering pawns and bishops started to really get to me.

AWOXing historically had a specific meaning that was a subset of what the term is used for now.

It used to be getting spies into 0.0 entities for the sole purpose of getting blue tackle on expensive ships and holding it long enough for others to get the kill.

Now, it's used as a term for any in-corp suprise violence.

You say you don't want an alcoholic working in a liquor store But you want to surround a "reforming" awoxer with freighters and multibillion isk mission running ships.

I did offer the guy the ability to join my corp however he has as of yet failed to contact me about my offer.
