This gets curiouser and curioser. The timing of MH370 disappearance coincides impeccably with a few other events.

Seems they want to make the pilot the patsy backed up with planted evidence at his house, here we go...

Checked out both articles and I see not where you came to that "conclusion".

Besides, The Times article cannot be read without subscription.

They searched the pilot house and found a flight sim there.

There is nothing wrong with that.

That's like saying if a cruise ship, say, was suspected of being hijacked by the ship's chef, and the authorities found cooking implements at his home. OMG the COINCIDENCE Shocked

"Captain Zaharie joined Malaysia Airlines in 1981 and was known as an avid flight buff who had clocked in 18,365 flight hours. He had a penchant for toying around with miniature planes on weekends and, as a certified flight simulator test examiner, had built himself a flight simulator at home."

It means nothing.

I'd be more concerned about the other pilot who had a habit of bringing people into the cockpit.

Mainly for posterity than details, the second link's article was deliberately written (by its writer) to deliver subtle hinting.
Most of it is out on the general mainstream now ... not that they're any better than the rumour mill Blink

Check out this PPRune (Professional Pilot Rumour Network) thread discussion. Fairly interesting and goes into technical details, folks, knock yourself out :

Time for a nap.

You are seeing plans within plans within covert plans.

That's not healthy.

I really wish they would just say the plane vanished and that they won't know what happened until the investigation is complete. Speculation without knowing anything about the situation never ends well.

Again.... my signature that turns out to be true most of the time ↓

Seriously.

I'm one of those who watches those news and analysis shows on PBS, and absolutely every pundit is highly skeptical of Indonesia's responses and lack of being forthcoming with information, especially early on. They were also the governing entity who oversees passport distribution and checking them for security reasons, and personally I think they are terrified of being found out, whether by just being lax, or actually some entity within setting up this particular plot.

None of it really makes any sense.

We'll probably discover that there are thousands of stolen passports out there marked as valid by nefarious governments.

Of course: I really have no idea.

Boeing 777 is a very good machine, really, if i would like to capture some passanger plane and fly it somewhere far away, it would be 777-200ER (extended range), or even better 777-200LR.

Starting to look like a freak accident and cover up. No one wants to be blamed for 240 lives lost. Who's to blame? Invalid passports, aviation, veteran pilots or the kids on board that were too loud?

Possible that it was actually hijacked and the crew/passengers fought back to retake the jet, only to be obliterated hitting the ocean during that process. Another scenario is... it ended up shot down and it's a big cover up.

Engines ping the satellites and I'm sure the Navies know where that plane ended up, just not saying. You simply don't vanish out of thin air and roll a media frenzy about Oops Accident Happened Lol.

Best and most believable tinfoil theory yet:

"It is my belief that MH370 likely flew in the shadow of SIA68 through India and Afghanistan airspace. As MH370 was flying “dark” without transponder / ADS-B output, SIA68 would have had no knowledge that MH370 was anywhere around and as it entered Indian airspace, it would have shown up as one single blip on the radar with only the transponder information of SIA68 lighting up ATC and military radar screens."

Did Malaysian Airlines 370 disappear using SIA68/SQ68 (another 777)?

Plausible. To pull stunts like this and make a plane completely disappear isn't run of the mill job for any terrorist entity(ies). There's a number of things which doesn't make sense.
Check the forest (figuratively speaking). Only the major powers have enough motives and resources for this act and its intended fallout. Deduce who has the most to gain and there you may find your culprit.

At his point it's just simply amazing and unbelievable.

Even if found eventually, we may still never know exactly what happened or the motivation, but we shall see.

Can the InterWebz and The Media handle something with no answer? Without imploding ??

Yeah, its gonna be the end of the world if we never find out what happened. Lol

I'm not even gonna speculate anymore, there is just not enough facts they have told the public yet. It's just an unexplainable disappearance as of now.

Also there is a hilarious link to another related article on El Reg. Some scammers have setup a website you to tell you what happened to the airplane after you take a "survey". Lol

Not at all. You have two pilots, one with controversial political views, both with strong family bonds.

Terrorists: We need a jet for....a thing.
Terrorists: You will steal a jet for us, or we will harm your familys.
Terrorists: This is how you will do it *hands over well-thought, diabolical plan to steal jet and pilot to terrorist's region*
Pilot: Yeah I could do that, Im a skilled pilot who loves my family. But what happens after?
Terrorist: Dont worry - we will take very good care of you and send much monies/support to your family
Pilot: Ok, didnt want this govt anyway.

- Plane gets flown to hostile region
- Pilots/crew/passengers are "removed"
- Plane is modified somewhat to do the thing
- Plane is flown somewhere, crashed/exploded
- Major news headline
- Now the actual plot has reached its finale the culprits announce responsibility

Thats my crazy, speculative theory, either that or its simply at the bottom of the ocean somewhere after a freak set of events has brought about its demise.
