That said, the notion she could be trying to flirt with me is quite horrific, so I choose to consider that as an unlikely possibility.

Achuran women aren't really my type I'm afraid. They're typically too short and not exciting enough for me. I'm quite positive Kim would get boring by the time the drinks came during a dinner date. As for running, of course I warped away immediately after my ship's destruction. I wasn't just going to sit there in an unarmed escape pod so that you could destroy it too. Nobody in their right mind would. Not even you would do something so stupid.
