Best fight i had since i returned to FW

Hello fellow fw friends.

I would like to take the time and share one of the best fights i had since i came back to , what i now call fw, my home. In the hopes that it shows people what fw is like in its real state not just a place where isk is made, and also in the hopes that it will stirr up new players feelings towards pvp, anything is possible with the right attitude and determination to see it done.

I had jumped from Sosala in to Kamela and spoted a kestrel on dscan at the novice. I was in my firetail with 150's and dual tank 1 medium asb and 1 t2 armor repper complemented by a nos. I knew kamela isnt always a good spot for actual 1v1 engagements but i figured i.d go ahead and see what happens. Sure enough i landed outside the plex to find the kestrel there, one second later from the moment i tackled i clicked on dscan to find another kestrel inbound to my position.
The kestrel i engaged already scram and webbed me and he had relatively the same speed as me therefor i had no choice,i had to commit to the fight in the hopes that i atleast kill one before i go down aswell.
As i was chewing his shield ,his buddy landed and quickly aproached me and started shooting, my tank was struggling, i used up all of my charges in the asb right when thr second one landed so it was reloading. My armor repper was madly working in overheat and i was taking structure dmg between reps. When i had half hull left the first kestrel went down so i proced towards the second, at that point my cap was very low and i can only say that if i did not have the nos i wouldnt have survived this long. I was barely repping due to no cap and my structure was going slowly but surely, he still had abit of shield.
At the moment when my hull reached its last ounce of hp , miracle happened, my asb reloaded and i quickly began to rep my shield like a madman. I had won the fight with literaly 2% structure left ( 14 hp ) and as i was traveling back to my station , when i docked up i was still laughing as i couldnt believe that just happened. Even though they where 2 t1 frigs that was the best fight i ever had so far , double tank ftw ( cheers Aldap ) .

Now i'm not the kind of person to use links or expensive bling on my ships, i use some implants but without the omega. I believe true victory in pvp is achieved by the skill and the knowledge of the player and not how much money or sp he has . This is the kind of stuff fw should provide on a constant basis and not fighting against linked opponents or 1v10 againts people who rub it in your face how leet they are .

Good fight and thank you.

Nice one Starbuck, sounds like an awesome fight.

I'm only recently back into eve myself and finding FW a real fun place to play this game.

Gratz.
Nothing like the pvp Shakes. It really is what keeps me coming back to this game time and time again.

I only wish all these F1 'where is fleet I need someone to tell me where to jump and who to shoot' people would understand the excitement of solo.

Sadly these types get into a vicious cycle of thinking that their 29 damage on a 9v1 is actually a killmail.

Hats off and if you ever need a home. AVNG looks for the type that fights out numbered.

Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure... Than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.
