it's just an outfit. as an example, wearing a suit doesn't make you a different person, it's just appropriate attire for a social setting

Moms don't know **** about what's best for you.

parents are haters and out of touch at best.

mine will always have something to say, when they should just be happy that i'm happy. so, i decided a long time ago that my love interests are none of their business.

The fact that you actually brought parents into this shows that you still need to pop that tit out of your mouth. Go be all teen angst-y somewhere else, grownups are speaking.

That's ********. There is being well-dressed and then there is dressing like a complete d-bag. I bet you wear skinny jeans.

I noticed it was on page 8 yesterday and thought the same thing

it's relevant.

i had an extended conversation yesterday with a long time friend, until 7 in the morning... on this topic. I was surprised to have the convo, because I always assumed he had things figured out.

my parents still try to send me money in the form of gift cards, but I refuse it. they also give me cash when I visit but I distribute it among my sisters... it's about preserving my sense of independence. but anyway. what I do allow are clothes, because clothes are just care packages. my mother sends me pants or jackets or shirts every once in a while. it's not always something I like, and this time it was skinny jeans. http://i.imgur.com/IlVCRqZ.jpg

a couple winters ago, it was a long wool coat from express that I just don't have the height or legs for. like these skinny jeans.

but now, i wear skinny jeans. today I wore the tighter pair (so tight they even hug my ankles), & hung out with an acquaintance who is a girl and she said she liked them. she also had a new chest tattoo to show me. she looks like the librarian type but she wears makeup so heavy you can smell it (my fav).

anyway. now i wear skinny jeans.

--side note: mother is a fashion designer and graduate of FIDM. when i compare that and what'shisface's opinion of skinny jeans, it only makes me more eager to wear skinny jeans. apparently they are in style, and make haters hate.

Nice, I kinda have a pair like that, they where button up ones, and the buttons broke><...
I'm not a fan of skinny pants I went to the mall the yesterday and looked around, I explained what my objective was and they gave we a booklet of whats "in" fashion these days, a lot of it was not that expensive, and the shoe type you recommended was not that bad in price either. Cool thing is company spends hundreds of thousands of dollars on market research to figure out whats going to sell.

a total of 6 first dates in 9 months, that’s pretty good, I only got 2 over a year.

I actually thought about doing what he did(and partially did so), write a snooping program(or have a friend write one, since i have not done any programing in 10 years), that would include random simulated clicks, and random log off and log on times I did make a flow chart for the program.

Getting IP banned however was not a option, I’ve herd of people trying that on-eve for market trading and getting banned with in 20 minutes). I did do some limited data mining, where I copy and pasted about 50 women profiles into open office, and did a word frequency count. I kinda gave up on it, because A)it was going to consume to much time, B)The over all quantity on women on there in Ontario were bad.

what I thought was interesting about the types of questions were the ones that go against conventional notions of propriety (like do you sleep with someone if the first date goes well) that the honest answer is very different from the socially proper one.

the article did make me think perhaps it was something worth returning to. and also being more thorough about the questions and answers.

i'm beginning to think there's something to these skinny jeans.

things that people dislike with a bit of passion are worth looking at. it's the idea that 'if you would rather i didn't, that tells me i could'

I like the idea of things that make people upset, and this is getting into a darker side of human nature, but one thing girls/women have on their minds is whether a guy would make their ex jealous or mad.

...I think you can fill in the rest of the blanks.

The question they ask on Ok-Cupid are pointless, most of those questions are for ad-revenue. Apparently one mandatory question they ask on PoF, is "Are you parents still together?" I had this question asked a few times when I went to speed dating events as well. lol.

Now I should probably book to get my hair cut at the hair salon again, What hair styles are in these days?

They ask that? If your parents are together? What is this the Sins of the Parents time now?

And regarding your hair, I always say a clean, neutral look is best. What I mean by that is nothing that stands out too much; avoid too much spike and keep it neat and even where possible. The idea is not to make it the focal point but the finishing touch of a well groomed package.

By the way, I have friends who have completely given up on the dating scene. Quite sad really. They all seem to point to online dating as a brutal exercise in frustration. Personally I just think its too easy to stop trying. Sometimes you just need to play the numbers game.

whether your parents are together is about more than just your parents' marital status. it's a hard and fast indicator of whether you were influenced to believe long-term relationships were a good thing. if i had to pick one major quality about a person it would be whether their goal was to maintain a long-term relationship or avoid it.

it's something very important that a lot of people don't realize they have a preference for.

your influences aren't right or wrong, they just are what they are, and based on the large number of people in either group I think it's ok to be in either one.

AND

dysfunctional has an appeal all its own. even stability-types hope to experience a bit of crazy before settling down. that's men and women both. stable and predictable and white picket fences are nice, but no one wants to live through the first half of their life without a bit of excitement. I <3 u too eevee. how do you like my skinny jeans
