Is this WAD? Allied NPCs attacking me in a WT's mission site

So I warped into a WT's mission site that I saw pop up on the overview. He's flying a stealth bomber while I'm in a Tristan. I'm interested in fighting so I begin to close the distance between us, and suddenly I find myself being locked by allied NPCs. Is this WAD? The mission site had Minmatar NPCs and I am Gallente militia, but I never had a problem with Minmatar NPCs when doing plexes in Minmatar FW space. My standing with Minmatar is over 3.0.

I'm quite angry since this looks like FW mission farmers are being protected by CCP.

Yes, this has been this way for as long as I recall. As a gallente if I try to enter a caldari war targets mission, the gallente rats will aggro me. Standings don't affect this, mine are above 8.

And yes, this is backwards and incredibly annoying.

CCP broke the rats a while back.

They have no idea how to fix it so they decided to go with 'Working as intended.'

yup when the made rats switch aggros to stop people using a speed tanker and a dps ship to blap missions they broke the fw missions too and dont know how to fix it... but then again they can make a plex rat not shoot u so grrrrrrr ccp is in order

Lets not mix up FW with wardecs. Off course regular mission rats will aggro you... they aggro everyone. Eve is chock full gameplay elements that make no sense lore-wise, but work OK as game mechanics. Why are rats on lowsec gates not popped by sentry guns when they agress? Why do NPC pirates develop POS related blueprints, yet no NPC POS exists anywhere?

yes kavir before inferno the rats used at ignore friendlies but ccp changed something so they all agro everybody.

We are not talking about wardecs.

We are not talking about regular mission rats.

yes if your standing was 2.00+ with the faction you went into both plexs and missions they ignored you. if you attacked them then they agro'ed and you were able to warp out and come back to reset the ignore.

so it wasnt automatic you had to earn the npc's trust but it did happen.

Even though many Gallente are secretly in our corp. We still shoot them. This is probably the issue you are having, talk to burtakus, tipiaks and our #1 bro yuri.

Yuri has been replaced by Mabego Tetrimon and his army of Stabbed/Cloaky alts in tristans with ECM.
(Im not even trolling with that - That's really what he flys)


Did you know 'Mabego' means 'Butthurt Farmer' in several ancient African dialects?
