I use to think that pvp outcome was predetermined long before you ever un-docked by SP training ship selection and fitting etc. Now I see that really only matters for people that press orbit and auto fire.

So many different factors can effect outcome of a 1v1 fight or 2v2 or small gang engagements. First knowing your ship strength and dictating the range of the fight and of course managing your modules but also people make mistakes.

While I agree Rock, paper scissors is the base for pvp, it is just that a base.

Good players can take the rock and beat paper or take paper and beat scissors.

If you have that much paper too completely smother a rock, you should also have enough to completely smother scissors to stop them from opening.

Therefore, paper wins, all the time.

Yeah you can take a rock and beat the paper...until his 15 scissor friends show up on grid and gank you.

I'm delicious.

Strange that in sheer scale, I stumble on a lot more rock paper scissor fights than ones with a glance at range dictation play.

Or maybe this game allows such an incredibly balanced gameplay as you say, that one couldn't notice how any of it at play happens, when it happens...

If paper beats rock by wraping it maybe rock should consider getting a wrap disruptor.

Biomassing characters, along with a 31 mil sp one and 20bil in wallet.

Goodbye Eve, you're an awful game.

Eve players, you delude yourselves into thinking this is an important and fun enough activity to participate in, while you could just be making someone happy for real or nailing your gf's or bf's in RL instead. You're all clever online geniuses, but at the same time, the biggest idiots to ever walk the face of this earth.

CCP, please go ahead and freeze to death from boredom on your dark and ****** island up there, for all I care.

Adios !

I agree. EvE isn't really "player skill" based.
