Heya Folks!

I wanted to get some input on the pros and cons of AB and MWD fit for a solo scimitar (or Oneiros for that matter...). I enjoy Logi and would prefer a dual Basi/Guard setup, but sometimes its not an option.

So, please give thoughts on AB fit or MWD fit for Logi, and how your tactics might change based on those things.

I've flown quite a few ops as a solo scimitar and oneiros in lowsec.

Basically you can only pull off enough tank for gate guns. I always flew with an MWD because the trick is staying out of range of the dps and only tanking gate guns. Best I can remember it takes some 3% implants to be cap stable with the MWD off.

For pvp you need a MWD so as to be faster than as many ships that might tackle you as possible.
For pve (missions support or incursion) you will need either an AB or no prop mod. ab for sig tanking and none if u don't really need to move much and can use the fitting space for more reppers.
The key to logi pvp is don't get in tackle range, don't get in nuet range, try not to get jammed whilst still being in rep range of your fleet. Scimis are much better than basi's in most cases because of their small sig and high speeds. Also basi cap chain is easy to disrupt and quickly makes 2 logi useless.
