PLEX - Dual Training - Account expiration

Hi.

I'm training two characters in parallel using PLEX but, i have a problem.

Because of the PLEX prices, i decided to only train one character until the prices (hopefully) will go down.
For this, i choose the 2nd character (not the one i created when i started EVE) so, when the dual training expired i used a PLEX to continue and decided to leave the 1st one to expire (i still had a few days left on the 1st one).

The problem is, i'm receiving emails from EVE because my payment/account will expire even if a plexed one character.

How is this possible?

Let's say my 1st character will expire, i will still be able to train and play on the 2nd character or to be able to play on the 2nd character i always have to use two plexes?

From my understanding, Plexs can be applied to your character to increase game time and to allow dual skill training on a single account.

I'm not sure but I think you don't need to apply the plex to both characters in order to use the dual training feature.

You don't need plex to play your other characters on your account but you would if you wanted to dual train.

I don't know much about the dual training so If anyone could confirm this?
