From all I have read so far the only way I can get a jump clone is if I have a 8.0 rating with either a faction or corporation. Or maybe it is the only way I can use them. But it seems from other forum topics I have read that characters that have been only playing for a month or so are already using jump clones. If this is true then I must be completely mis-understanding something here because it would take a considerable amount of time to attain a 8.0 rating. Lately I have been exploring and would really like to jump through some wormholes I have found. But I don't want to risk losing my +4 implants if I am podded.Sad Could someone please explain how to use jump clones without having a 8.0 rating or if it is even posible.

For a Jump Clone (JC) you need eighter:

- 8.0 standing to a NPC corp.
- Use an JC supplying corp like mentioned above.
- Be in corp/alliance with acces to an Outpost with medical facilities.

I don't think you mean it like that - but just in case. And to clear that up for other new people out there.

Just can't clone jump to/from wormholes. It's a pity, wanted it many a time really - but no.
A jump clone is empty when you create it. Your +4s are not automagically copied to the new clone, you need to buy seperate sets of implants and whatever else for each clone. So saving your +4s in these situations involves jumping to a clone with lesser implants and then get into wormholes.

You can get jump clones for free without 8.0 standing everywhere in highsec from EACS

Highly recommended !
