Why, Why did you had to give it a camo paint... WHY?

Are you telling me that the increase of ships bearing the unimaginative camo paint is a good thing?

Because it needs it, and desperately so. The Fed Navy Comet used to look so completely out of place in this game, it was an embarrassment to fly.

But not any more, the Comet now fits in.

To be honest, all day i have been hearing nothing but the soft sounds of sighing, as thousands of people the world over are totally relieved and then rejoice over the implimentation of That-Which-Needed-To-Be-Done.

EVE is starting to feel Right again, and Camo Paint on the Comet is a major step in the right direction of righting that which has been wronged.

I expressed my disagreement in the changes to the Comet. After giving it some thought, and reading about others' perspective, I changed my opinion. Mostly.

I agree with the camo job. It brings the ship in line with the rest of the Navy Issue ships.

However, I do terribly terrible miss the blinky light. Another person made the suggestion that they split the Comet into a Navy Issue, and Police Issue ship that keeps the original paint job, the blinky blue light, and return the "GFPF" lettering on it.

Probably won't ever happen, but it sure would be neat. If not as an LP reward, then perhaps as a tournament prize or a BPO drop from a CCP Live event.

Oh well. Times are a-changin'.

I too am registering my dissatisfaction with the new Comet camo paint job.

The white paint job of the Police ship is much much better, it's a crying shame only NPC's get to use it now.

As a comet pilot I am slightly miffed. Hopefully I got fraps footage of the old one as I highly doubt we'll get it back as a police ship.

They got the shuttle too. It isn't yellow any more.
