Eve Online Launcher keeps Freezing?

Whenever i start the Eve Online Launcher, it always freezes, even after I've rebooted my computer. I can't type in my username/password and the Launcher freezes before it can even download & install any updates! This problem started happening 5 days ago, but prior to that, it was working properly. I have both Windows 7 and Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 installed on my computer, and the same problem occurs on both operating systems.

As of right now this game is literally unplayable for me, I just spent $70 on a 6 month membership and i'm beginning to feel like it was a waste of money...

Hey!

Having the same issue here. I'm on a 2011 iMac i3 running Maverick.

I've been able to bypass the launcher using the method listed here. This stopped working when the latest patch was deployed today, and as such I'm downloading the entire (patched) client from the EVE-O website.

I'll let you know if I manage to mend the launcher.

I've been able to patch the game by using the following method (alternative to a fresh reinstall):

Download the EVE Repair Tool and run it. You'll still need to bypass the launcher.

Despite deleting the launcher app and replacing it with the repair tool, it is still broken. A fresh install is probably the solution.
