How do I get Caldari to fight me?

I've been in faction warfare for a while now, and lately I've noticed that I'm actually fighting pirates more than actual Calmil. I fight around the Eha/Innia area were they should be the most active, but it seems all I can fight is SNIGG. And I fly in every ship type short of BCs. And I can forget them even entering a plex if more than 5 ships appear on Dscan in our plex. Can someone give me advice in getting fights with Caldari Militia? Perhaps baiting tactics or a way to banter them? Is there some place else to get better chances of a fight? I'll take blobs at this point.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Plex Innia, Oicx or Enaluri. Make sure you post your fit in local.

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!

Sadly there are more people willing to blob then have proper fight and honoring 1v1's . As you might know or veterans might teach you, if you can't beat em then blob em , so thats what most people do. You either find farmers that run away, blobs that gank you then to show how leet they are they post gf in local.. or the ocasional warrior, not unlike myself, that prefer a real fight and honor true 1v1 without links or super blinged ships..

Now im not saying gangs are bad, this is a mmo , but ganking people then talking sh!t about it making the person regret ever undocking is wrong and only leads to reducing the nr of fights they have in the future.

On topic tough, my advice to you is to expand your area, roam instead of staying still,if pvp is what you want and not isk making. You will have better chance of finding warriors that way since they will tend to find fights away from the impending blob .

You could also try plexing in ships that appear more desirable to engage. If your flying stuff that would scream i am strong!! Then the odds of finding challengers are worse.

I play in the amarr/minmatar region, feel free to stop by sosala and gimme a shout.

Just because i am blond does not make me stoopid !

Only go there if you want to fight double Commanship boosted gangs that will always outnumber you 3:1 odds at least. If you're into that kind of stuff then he's right, Enaluri is good to go.

The rest of the time, you'll need to expand your area of play like the guy above me said. Sticking to just to Innia/Eha is bad as it's become the norm to have 5-20 man fleets anytime you jump into that system. Roaming to quieter to areas will get you a better fight, but it will take longer as well to get it since it is quieter...

TL:DR - go roaming to areas where the squids aren't super afraid of the "blob!!!!"

ENALURI

You'll find a healthy sized 'gang' there that may appear closer to be a 'blob' than it really is due to certain 'factors', This factored gang is eager for blobs to come and play.

Perhaps we should open a thread discussing the gradients of 'blob'. Smook would be happy to start another focusing on the affect links have on a blob. I'm even told that his calculations contain a unique 'Burtakus' Constant.

Roam. Take some chances. There may be 5 WTs in a system, that does not mean they are all in space or even active. So if you see a lone merlin in a Novice, go for it; but watch d-scan and if stuff starts showing up, try to bug out or overheat to kill the guy faster.

You don't. You warp into a Caldari fleet in a plex and they all cloak up.

Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?

I think what you need to do in this situation is just be a bit better at faction warfare. Somehow there are thousands of Cal/Gal ships blowing each other up around you on a daily basis but you can't find a fight? You are clearly doing something very very wrong.

Check out Ladistier or Vrevaert. Blap one of the NAERY farmers, and they'll come back in a gang of 5+. :)

Drop a can in the plex. Name it 'Loot me for FREE Cloaks and Stabs!!!' so it shows on dscan. That should lure 'em inside...

I've been having the same issues as the OP but mostly at the fleet level. This month alone, I've had 4 different Caldari fleets numbering at 40 pilots or more in cruisers and above run from our fleets of 12-20 pilots.Sometimes they are spotted doing ihub bashes and other times, they are just roaming around looking for a fight. Templis, GHIOT, The Bloc....they all just run. Roll

With the exception of Victor, none of the other FCs over there have the courage to fight us. Aside from purposely handicapping our comp (which we've done a couple times) to encourage a fight, what are we to do? US TZ is no where as busy as EU TZ when it comes to fleet engagements in the Black Risingstan area so we have to take what we can get from the local residents. And yes, we do roam other areas too such as Placidstan and get nice fights out of the other locals. Thank you Eve Uni for the 50 vs 15 last weekend! But any advice to encourage existing Caldari patriots to fight and bleed for The State is welcomed. Thank you.

High Five. Yeah! C'est La Eve .

Not to be a negative Nancy, but looking at your KB for the month, for all but one of your ship kills you were flying with a Rapier pilot. I would venture to say you were bait dangled by the cloaked Rapier. I can only wonder why pilots aren't engaging you. Pirate
