Please don't make it final for AUR. I don't see why you would do this apart from draining people's wallets... Cry

It doesn't drain peoples' wallets that badly. Besides, you can buy AUR tokens for ISK and use those.

Or you can just buy the BPCs/Ships for ISK outright.

What he said. What I'm hoping for is black and white amarr ships - something like this:

I think that this is definitely something that the people want. Big smile

The one thing that is just flat out annoying that will keep many people away from it is the need to manufacture it.
I have talked with many people about it in game and they feel that it is just a major sink and just annoying to have to have a manufacturing slot to apply a paint color to their ship. You don't have to put a ship through a manufacturing run to put rigs on it and that seems more of a realistic task then applying paint to a ship.

My Suggestion:
If you could make the paints act something like a rig for the ships then it will be easy to apply just like rigs and unable to be removed without destroying the module (One Time Use). You can still have the paints be made from BP's bought only through AUR and require manufacturing slots to be used to make the new modules. This opens up a new manufacturing line for builders and allows the players to still determine the market value of the paints while only adding a new tab to the market place for simplicity and easy to find. It still will draw people into using AUR and looking through the store in hopes to sell more from the store as well.

In my experience in RL and in EVE (EVE is Real) if you keep things simple and easy you can draw a larger demographic and I feel it would cause a higher volume of sales making it more attractive to all players. More sales more revenue.
Example: For a pvp oriented, manufacturing hating player they will not want to spend the time or effort to manufacture a paint job to their ship they will probably lose in 30 min. But if it takes them 30 sec. to buy and apply it to their ship I think they will be more willing to spend their isk on it.

It's a temporary measure during this trial. I suggest reading the blog and related dev posts.

I'd like to propose a suggestion:

1. Change the blueprint of a coloured ship to ISK. (no aurum)

2. Change the blueprint requirements for:

2.1. Ship
2.2. Main paint (a set volume)
2.3. Secondary paint (another set volume)
2.4 Add other paints as apropriate...

3. Create Blueprint for Market item "paint X"
3.1. Paint X requires a blueprint for a large volume of paint.
3.2. Paint X manufacture requires suitable minerals for colouring.

4. Create Blueprint for "paint X" purchaseable only via aurum, to produce a given volume of paint.

5. Separate the volumes as apropriate for frigates, cruisers etc.

6. Make aurum on the blueprints, and leave the ships and all related as ISK.

TL:DR; read above, its as clear as I can make it.

Soooo this next set of ship skins....

You have it on TQ BEFORE you have it on SiSi? I mean, i always assumed TQ was a BETA version of Eve at best...but really? Great product testing there CCP.

You now know why i stopped wasting my time participating in Mass Tests and giving you feedback you don't listen to.

They are on Sisi the market side and nex store front stuff some times gets mismatched on sisi when there are a lot of small bug fix patches or the server is used for dev builds even small ones like the one they just deployed.

If i dont know something about EVE. I check https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/ISK_The_Guide

Yes, they put them in the market in the patch today. However, i have yet to find any of the hauler skins anywhere? They are not in NeX, and they are not in their subsequent LP stores

I think you misunderstood the post. In the post they state that they made them tradable in the market, which is very different then adding them to the market. Unless they've snuck something into SiSi, There is currently no way to acquire the industrial and ORE skins. (If someone has more accurate information please share with us Big smile)

I think you missed the point of the first post, they had them on TQ minus being able to actually acquire them, two days before they had ANY info at all for them on SiSi. The point was...isn't that what SiSi is for...to put things out on first to properly test stuff before it gets pushed to TQ....not push it to TQ, then add it to SiSi for giggles at some later date.

As to acquiring the skins on SiSi. The orca/rorq ARE (atleast were yesterday) available in the NeX Store on SiSi. However i have not been able to locate the others. I pray to all things holy that they don't also populate this terrible idea of the NeX Store.

The skins (Including the industrials and the ORE skins) have been in the game files since before the pilot program was pushed to tranquility. I'm confident the Devs have been testing those skins in addition to people ship spinning them in the preview windows. Functionally speaking, the ships are an identical copy to their unskinned counterparts with the only change being the variable that defines what texture is loaded when you load the ship. The system itself has already been proven functional, Do you really feel you need to test "THIS THING IS NOW BLUE INSTEAD OF RED!" when the underlying system has already been tested?

I logged in to check out the ORE skins in the NEX store on SiSi today to find them unavailable. Do you happen to recall how much they cost?

No idea think those will be linked to the fanfest stream though.
