Yuppers.

My DL has not absolutely stopped.....yet, but it slowed down at 1.05 of 1.29 GB. Takes about a minute between each .01 advancement.

It should be done in about 3 hours at this rate. And 3 more accounts to go.

Personal Fittings tab doesn't want to show my miriad of saved fittings. I can search for them by name, name of ship for example, but it's a pain not to have them at a glance. Corporation fittings are showing at first but when I switch between Personal and Corporation it doesn't refresh.

In contrast to the reports about failed patching:

Launcher and patch worked fine under Linux with wine 1.7.10, no problems while downloading or applying the patch. Good job, CCP QA!

I wasn't joking. The last 4 or 5 releases have been without problems during download/patching under Linux. I can't say how the current update behaves under Windows because I don't have any Win installation nearby.

Oh I don't doubt that it ran smoothly for you, it was just that your post seemed to dismiss all the problems other people are encountering. It made the bunnies laugh.

Fist time I can ever recall not having an issue with a big rollout (1.29G download). Downloaded and applied fine, no issues.

Edit: on main gaming box; still have to do laptop.

LOL 11+ years and the forums are still full of crying losers. The early impatient adopters bites the dust. Always.

Just installed it on two machines WITHOUT any issues.

Good work. CCP.

I try using repair.exe. Now repair stuck at 75.9% trying to download recipes. What else can we do that do not get stuck?

Canceled my stuck repair. Now I am stuck at "Please wait, cancelling running tasks...". Seriously, CCP.

I just wonder whether uninstall.exe will get stuck too when I run it.

The fog. Please tell me you have a fix for the fog in stations that causes massive fps problems now, at least for me. They are layers of fog that had been causing the performance issues in different sites in space and missions. It looked so much better without it, I mean the fog was in the stations as it was before 1.3 but looked much better and was smoother. Now I can even see the layers, it just doesn't look even good.
The change in FPS was huge. Literally before the downtime it went over 60 FPS if not more. Now I am getting under 40 and sometimes even lower. Now I really don't have a place to chill my PC out in. Though, everything else on a performance side looks good, except the station environments. Cool

Edit: The FPS problem was on my side, I've had still directx 9 turned on after the patch. Changing to DX11 as my pc is has this version seems to vanquish this issue, all is smoother than ever before :P. Tho the fog effects are still a bit too intense I think.

Then it's something beyond CCP's responsibilty. Here on my third machine it's working without any issues.

It's pretty simple. If it works here on my Alienware and on two other DELL machines with Win 7 latest patched release and you guys have issues it's the worst idea to point and rage at CCP. Take a look at your PC and internet and try to find a solution or figure out what the reason of this issue is. It can be the internet connection, the server, a messed up PC... whatever. Here it worked on three machines now. More I can't say. That a computer geek's life.

With the Rubicon 1.3 patch and the new shaders on asteroids, performance got a lot worse for me. Before the patch I had a constant 60fps, now the screen stutters and I drop about 20 frames when asteroids come into view. I tried to change graphics options, but no help.

Using: Win 7; DX11; AMD Radeon HD5700 series (desktop)
