EVE Online: Rubicon 1.3 has been published on March 12th, 2014.

With this release we started a ship skin pilot project, EVE graphics got improved (asteroids are now displayed with the modern V3 shaders linear lightning on ships implemented etc.), lots of "LittleThings" were introduced, drone assist mechanic got capped at 50 drones and a lot more.

Would be nice if the blinking triggered by the chat highlights had different color like the dark green used on the text.

Would also be nice if the blinking effect could be set to trigger on active tabs too.

What did you do to my beloved Amarr ships! they used to have a glorious shiny gold on them, now it's a dull ruddy brown!

Outside of that, everything seems to be working fine. Might I add that the new Kador Abaddon looks simply amazing. And The tuning up on the Amarr vessels is subtle, ever so subtle, but I like it, it's an improvement.

Can we have an explanation as to how the Chat channel filtering is supposed to work. ATM I can only get one word filtered because when you save the settings it just moves all the words onto 1 line in a massive long list
i.e.
alpha.bravo.charlie.delta

but the only word blocked is it all together. i.e. not alpha or charlie but "alpha.bravo.charlie.delta" only

I can't comment on the facetheft, but I'll do what I can about other perturbation. If you report specific issues that perturb, I will endeavor to ensure that the appropriate parties responsible for the perturbing feature address it appropriately so that it perturbs no more.

Honestly, I was just joking, I'm loving the update, and the new skins (more of those please!) All in all, I'd say Rubicon 1.3 is a good thing.

I was basically shouting that "this cake is delicious but the frosting is the wrong color!"

I didn't work on that feature specifically, but there's a fairly comprehensive DevBlog here:

Anyone else having some mixed results with the new lighting? It looks great on some ships, but others have what I would describe as a washed out and desaturated look. Legion went from gold to a dark bronze color, just to name one example. Apoc on the other hand looks great.

edit: Modules too. Torp launchers on my Purifier are almost completely white AND CCP Punkturis might have infiltrated the Carthoum Conglomerate, seeing the new colour of the Guardian. Shocked

Greetings like the new skins. Would like to see another Police Pursuit skin for larger ships with a bit larger lights.

I found all the skins I could buy in Jita

The patch dl and install went smoothly for me... too bad it was the case for everyone.

Still a little fuzzy on how the drops are going to work for the Nexus chips. If you have a moment please expound on this topic.
