EVE Online: Rubicon 1.3 Issues Thread

EVE Online: Rubicon 1.3 has been published on March 12th, 2014.

With this release we started a ship skin pilot project, EVE graphics got improved (asteroids are now displayed with the modern V3 shaders linear lightning on ships implemented etc.), lots of "LittleThings" were introduced, drone assist mechanic got capped at 50 drones and a lot more.

Known issues in Rubicon 1.3
  • When deleting notifications, they might not appear to have been successfully deleted. This is just a display bug, and will be fixed in a patch in the very near future. Fixed with Rubicon 1.3.1
  • The list of saved fittings will not load if it contains a saved fitting for any of the recently removed Jove ships. The ship fittings can be accessed by searching for the ship you are interested in. Fixed with Rubicon 1.3.1



Could everyone who is still experiencing problems with launcher/install/patching/etc please EVEmail CCP Goliath with the following information

- Launcher version (located in top left of launcher window. I just need the last 6 numbers)
- Did you try the repair tool?
- If yes, did you try it after 14:00 GMT Tuesday 13th March

All the BPCs are there, but you may need to wait 15 minutes or clear your cache for them to appear.

Patch wont work, its stuck on 3/4 applying patch 100% been like this for 20min now

Production: In the "Choose installation dialoge" the slots show as free, but later in the "accept quote" dialoge it shows that the job will start later.

i have the same problem, i have tryed to restarting the launcher but still just geting to 3/4 100%

i run windows 7 and use dx9

I had the same problem. even tried restarting the computer. Running repair program fixed it and now in game

Launcher patch is broken, repair tool similarly "repairs" with a ton of "Warning: failed to add block" messages. Keeps running in circles.
Win 7, DX-whatever-is-default

Edit: canceling the repair tool, deleting the patch file and starting the launcher again seems to have worked.

Stuck at 3/4 100% Amazing. like many others... Do you just launch the patches without testing? ...11+ years of experience

Opening the "Fitting Management" returns an empty Personal Fittings list. Sad The Corporation Fittings list seems to be OK.

If you have problem with patch (download fail) use repair tool. (it is in game dir)
It work with ****** internet connection and strange errors, it will download patch without problems :)

Impossible to launch the game.

Launcher gets stuck at step 3/4 APPLYING EVE_ONLINE_734685-739267_WIN.PATCH: 100%

Tried for 1 hour with computer relaunch and patch re-download on Win7 DX11

Also have the same problem with patch stuck at 100% @ stage 3/4...
