Wanted: Suicide Gankers

Knights of The New Order Now Recruiting

You may have heard of us already, as we've been making waves and sparking controversy all over Highsec, but just in case, here's a quick FAQ:

What is the New Order?

The New Order of Highsec is an emergent (player created and driven) movement, a radically bold collective effort of players from every corner of New Eden, from veteran nullsec players, to life-long Highsec industrialists, from 10 year players to brand new noobs, all fighting for the same cause: The reformation of Highsec, from an AFK/botting money-machine into something better, something more in line with the spirit of EVE.

The Order is nearly 2 years old now, and growing all the time! The CODE. Alliance is now so large that our official, custom Logo is being added to the game!

What do you do?

Most of all we have fun, being fun and engaging is top priority. We address the Risk/Reward imbalance in Highsec. We do this by claiming sovereignty over High Security Space and enforcing the player-created Law of Highsec known as the Code. The Code was set forth by our leader, James 315 (commonly referred to as the Savior of Highsec) who keeps a hilarious and hard-hitting blog chronicling our adventures at www.minerbumping.com

The Code requires miners to purchase a 10 million ISK mining permit for the privilege of mining in our space (Highsec) for one year.

If a miner is found to be illegally mining without a permit, mining while AFK, or running a bot, we suicide-gank them (kill them before the space-police arrive to kill us back) with cheap T1 destroyers that our shareholders pay for. Or we bump them out of the belts with fast cruisers. Or we infiltrate their Corp and wreck their mining ops since attacking corp-mates is legal. Or anything else you can think of to punish the residents of Highsec who don't follow the Code.

Are you just a bunch of griefers?

No, believe it or not, we're the good guys. We fight bots and bot-aspirants who bottom out mineral prices, making the profession of mining less lucrative and harming the game. We only kill the bad miners, the ones who don't even really play.

True, we've made a lot of enemies on our journey, mostly people who think that they have the right to go AFK with their exhumer out in the open and have nothing bad happen to them, but every day our organization grows and people donate more money to keep our gank ships in good supply.

We're reforming the sick carebear culture of Highsec.

What do you offer new players?

We offer a unique, cheap, and fast way for new players to get experience in the emergent, non-consensual PVP that you can only get in EVE.

With only a few days training time and a character you don't mind dedicating to ganking, you can be flying with the Knights of the New Order, the most entertaining bunch of suicide-gankers in the Galaxy, getting fleet experience, learning the ropes, all the while tasting that heart-pounding rush that only comes from player verses player combat.

The New Order has vaporized well over 1 trillion ISK in non-compliant vessels.

Also, in case you didn't hear, WE GANK FOR FREE! Since we're sponsored by the EVE community itself, all catalyst destroyers lost in service of the Code are reimbursed, allowing us to gank at zero personal net loss.

Any money to be made? Sure, our scouts are free to keep the loot that drops in each gank (which is substantial) and when we come across expensive shiney modules, they are sold and the proceeds split between the fleet members. Also, our catalysts are reimbursed at just above Jita prices, if you can get them cheaper, or make them yourself, then the difference is all profit.

If socially engineering Highsec while having a blast shooting miners interests you, visit www.minerbumping.com and click the 'Become an Agent' or 'GANK' tabs at the top of the page.

Wow, I just got my entire net worth doubled by Erotica 1, AGAIN.

Anyway, have I mentioned the New Order's wardec, Awox, and industrial/logistical support divisions? Yes, behind every great Highsec government is an even greater infrastructure. We are lucky enough to be held up and reinforced by the EVE community itself, making us invincible and insuring there is a place for everyone among our ranks.

The Revolution needs you.
Highsec is worth fighting for.
Go with the Code.

A serious message to new players:

You will find many highsec CEOs all too willing to recruit you to shoot rocks and pad their taxes. You will find very few that expose you to Eve's real strength: emergent gameplay. After weeks or months of mining, you'll be left asking yourself "is that it?".

They will tell you we are the bad guys. They will say we prey on the weak and innocent. In truth, what we do is weed out the bots, and the bot-aspirant players who contribute nothing to anything other than their own wallet.

You don't have to take me on my word: try a mining corp, bore yourself senseless, watch the crude, racist, homophobic, miogynist, entitled, whiny chat in the mining channel and then try the New Order for a week and be amazed at the difference. Smart, fun, polite people who don't take themselves or Eve too seriously.

Galaxy Pig is a true Knight of the Order.
Pure of Heart,
resolute in Purpose,
armoured in Faith.
The Code lives in him,
gives him strength
and he does not waver.
I flew by his side in days past,
upon the cold icebelts of Kamio we struggled
against the great scourge of our home:
Bot-aspirancy.
High praise we gave him,
and much admiration and space loot,
for many are the miners slain by his hand,
their wretched space carcasses piled thick and high.
And the Supreme Protector smiled.

So sayeth I, Alana Charen-Teng, Knight of the Order.
