Hi,

I was missing a fitting tool for Android so I deceided to make one myself. The app is called EVE Droid and is currently in development in an alpha stage.

The fitter is now fully working. Look below for the road map for future releases.

You can find it on Google Play here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dk.alxb.evedroid

Please make any ISK donations (large and small) to BVoid

Current features:
• Add characters by API Key or Install button
• Ship Fitter
• Simple character monitoring
• Browse the EVE Online item database
• View the time it takes to train for skills and items
• Export ship fits to EFT and EVE Online XML
• Rubicon 1.1 database

Road map for future releases:

Version 0.5.x BETA
• More information about characters (overview, skills, skill queue, wallet)

Version 0.6.0 BETA
• Import ship fits from EFT and EVE Online XML

Version 0.7.0 BETA

Version 0.9.0 BETA
• Notification alerts on free room in skill queue

Version 1.0.0
• Tablet optimized layouts

Version 1.1.0
• Skill queue planner

Version 1.5.0
• Change skills related to fit

Version 1.6.0

Version 2+

• More information shown from the EVE API such as assets, market orders, research, corp assets, etc.

Version 3+

• Production (profit) calculator

Please email me with any issues or suggestions.

This software is in BETA stage. That means that you should expect a few crashes and some missing functionality.

It would be amazing if you could import API keys from an EVEMON file, instead of having to input multiple toons into your app manually.

I will make it easier to import keys soon. Do you want to place the EVEMON file in the root of /sdcard and let the app search there? Or do you have a suggestion for an even easier flow?

Yes if you add the install link feature the app will be used by more people:To activate install links use this url: https://support.eveonline.com/api/Key/ActivateInstallLinks and when clicked Example of Output: eve://api.eveonline.com/installKey?keyID=KEYID&vCode=VERIFICATIONCODE.

However i think this application could go far as interface is simple and easy to use, including the fitting element.

Also if you need anything hosted ill happily help out :P

I will implement the install button next. It's not fun copy pasting several keys on different accounts.

I just started using this, and I have to admit that it has a clean interface, and it is easy to use. I like that I can select multiple slots and put the same module into each selected slot instead of having to do one at a time. The ability to select damage profiles helps adjust the type of tank you are using, and having them preset makes it easier on the user.

This is an app that I will keep and I appreciate the work you're putting forth creating an Android fitting application. Thank you.

I am glad you like it. You can also copy modules if you have one that you should have added multiple times. Just long press it and select the copy icon.

And not the app is Rubicon updated! Try it out if you haven't.

EDIT:
0.1.6 had a major bug in it that cause some phones not to have access to the internal database. 0.1.7 fixes this. Let me know if 0.1.7 works for you.

Hmm.. That seems strange. Is the key expired?

Have you tried creating a new key? Do you allow CharacterSheet and SkillInTraining on the key?

If all else fails I would love to borrow the key for debugging purposes. But that is up to you of course if you want to share such information. Will not give it to anyone else.

You can PM me for further support or better yet: write to EveDroidAndroid@gmail.com

Looks like when you download from the play store it only gives you version 1.5 you have to update twice to get to 1.7.

Unfortunately 1.7 crashes immediately on start u. I submitted a report. I have and HTC X running android 4.2.2 and HTC sense 5.0

I don't know much about windroy.com. What architecture is it running on? The fitting engine should be compiled for arm, mips and x86. I have not tested it on anything but arm, so I suspect that might be the problem.

0.5.4 is up on Google Play. Among other stuff it makes it easier to search for items. "inv fi ii" will find "Invulnerability Field II" and so on. Here is the change list:

0.5.4 BETA changes:
• Character overview added (open by clicking a character in the overview).
More data coming soon. Selecting a character will make it the active character.

• Improved search for items: "inv fi ii" will now find "Invulnerability Field II"
• Added traits and bonuses to ship descriptions
• Added button to add characters from overview when none exists
• Sort by name when selecting active character

Really like this app, keep up the good work. I understand the focus is a fitting app, but if you get EVE mail working with notifications it will probably become my one stop app for android Smile

I will add EVE mails soon. And I will add some settings to toggle what you what notifications for. Such as new EVE mail, skill training complete, free room in skill queue, clone out of date, etc.

Awesome app! I've already wasted so much time doing trial fits for my various ships. I mean that in a very good way. Looking forward to seeing more.
