You know, Anslo, I hadn't ever before bothered to read that blog you have linked in your sig, but man, that was totally worth ten minutes.

I especially love the part (in November 2012 I believe) where the theoretical readers are exhorted to make their voices heard in the CCP sticky and, what was it, "preserve their liberty of play" or whatever?

That was priceless. Like the liberty to NOT play the game is something that needs to be preserved.

How did all that go, by the way?

We took a different approach and trained up gunnery skills.

Clearly it worked, as the gank/grief community seems to be afraid of the carebear's with guns.

Funny, then why hasn't the bumping and ganking stopped? I ganked a guy in Sinq Laison earlier, and no "carebears with guns" came to stop me. The botter in question didn't even have his drones out, so no one got on my killmail.

I have to say, I question your effectiveness. And if all you meant by that statement above was that you stopped mining... well then, I guess we really know who wins, don't we? That's kinda the point of the whole New Order thing, to make those freaking people actually play the game.
