I've been testing a Kronos fit I've been interested in lately, and I just noticed that when I hit the Bastion module to turn on, the ship's model does not change at all. I've checked my settings and everything is running at max, with the exclusion of camera shake. You guys got super wtf happy with that, so I keep it off.

I've noticed this too, I hope it's just a bug for now. Probably best to report it or wait for a dev reply here.

There's a bastion animation?

Yes, each ship does something "special", not quite spectacular as when a Rorqual transforms but it's still a nifty animation. :)

This is a known issue, as far as I can tell and we have an internal defect about it. I'll check the status of it tomorrow.

Can you find where the engine flames went, too? And maybe the engine sounds?

You can Fix that Internal Defect by giving it a better animation.... I love my Kronos and am Ashamed at how much sexier the Golem transforms then it... If I am going to be locked in place for 60 seconds I want to be staring at more awesomeness...

The Golem is fuggly, and seems like they were just running short on time so they did the easiest thing they could. Now the Paladin, that is more of a TRANSFORMATION (you know, like we were led to believe they would be) that is sexy. I still can't really tell just by glancing at Vargur if it is in or out like the other three.

You're all deranged. The Vargur deploys additional armor plating over its solar sails and opens exhaust ports to vent the reactor core.

Other ships all open up their hulls to expose sensitive things. The Vargur covers itself up for protection. Clearly the Vargur wins the Transformation Battle, with the Kronos coming in second place for detail and number of moving parts during transformation. With all due respect to Team TriLambda and the work they did, I still find the Paladin transformation very underwhelming and there could be a little more happening on the Golem (that new hammerhead bridge could do something, for instance).

I do sorta wish that the armor plates on the Vargur covered the sails more convincingly or projected some kind of energy shell around the sails, but whatever.

I was kinda being sarcastic. I'm never zoomed in close enough to see it anyway.

Flames are fixed, but the sounds are still missing. I'm guessing they were removed due to complaints regarding the new sound effects that were introduced in Odyssey.

If my experiments with flying a Providence around are correct, the engine sounds are there; they're just very very very quiet so that you have to turn the "world" volume very significantly up in order to hear them. Unfortunately, this means everything else is also very significantly turned up and so this volume setting is somewhat untenable. I'll have to make another thread or look for one. It should also be bug-reported to death so that someone at CCP HQ says "the bug reports from SiSi are too much! Fix it already!"
