Not blaming CCP, but as of late the Risk vs reward of doing anything in game is way off. Running missions, wormholes, incursinos, pvping, pretty much anything that involves undocking is very dangerous as you know a disconnect is coming, you just don't know when.

Every time I get a socket closed, and my router's connection history shows a stable connection my end I will be resurrecting/posting in a kicked again thread. This is unacceptable!

Just be patient. It's extremely likely that the people behind the DDoS attacks are US based.
it's only a short matter of time before the FBI/NSA/CIA/etc. track them down and throw a fat paycheck at them to work for Uncle Sam.
Then we'll be free of the issues until the next script kiddie needs an ego boost.

Yes, it has appeared that several internet assailants have ganged up and started neuting the servers' capacity. They are currently not cap stable.
