WIndow Frustration - Not staying in place

Ok, so we have an entire thread about the non-pinning windows, so I thought I'd start a fresh one for a new major annoyance.

When I put a window some place, I want it to freaking stay there. I can't even begin to tell you how annoyed I am by the BS you guys have changed with the UI. Don't get me wrong, the thing seems sharper yet smoother (how you did that is beyond me) but the leap frog windows you have implemented is for the suck!

Place your selected item window at the top right of your screen in the corner.

Place the overview directly below it. Touching it.

Open a folder of bookmarks and place that below the overview.

This is typically how I operate. The bookmarks usually have safe spots for the system I'm in, or mining spots if i'm mining. So I can easily bounce from one place to another.

Now, dock.

The selected item window and overview disappear as they should, but the bookmark folder does not stay in place. Instead it slides all the way to the top of the screen.

Not such a big deal in this exact situation since we don't need BM's while we're docked anyways but it does this with other windows too. If I put a window in a location, that is where I want that window to stay. Always. I don't want you to decide that it should slide up to the top because I closed the one above it.

The opposite is also true. I have my cargo above my second group of chat windows. If I minimize my second group of chat windows my cargo slides down. WTF? This is not a feature it's an annoyance. Get rid of that crap.

On the last post I made about the non-locking windows you guys claimed you were removing "unused features to make it easier to code." So you implement this crap? How did that make your code easier? Not to mention it's completely stupid.

Leave my damn windows where I put them please.

Thank you.

I disagree.

Who in their right mind expects CCP to provide something that actually works?

I mean, they got rid of pinning windows because people were complaining that it wasn't working. Clearly if it wasn't working, then they needed to remove the problem in the code. And besides, they were complaining about it not working so they didn't even use it anyways.

Clearly you don't know what you're talking about.

I absolutely agree and I am really disappointed.
