First release candidate for Rubicon 1.3 on Singularity

Hey,

I'm sure, that some might be interested to know that the first release candidate for Rubicon 1.3 is now on Singularity. Please reply to this thread and write a bug report, if you happen to find any bugs on Singularity, which are not present on Tranquility.

Known issue: The Mac patch is still in transit, it should be available a bit later.

The wording of the police comet description needs to show how to get it. It does not mention Concord in the description. A list of the stations where concord LP is able to be turned in would work. Agent search does not have any concord agents so using that to search also does not work. sov check finally located the correct systems but its clunky.

Description is still the generic comet one.


Search using the new system search in the shortcut pop out can find concord locations. The map search cannot.

All Jove ship models (excluding SoCT ships and the capsule) are missing from the game files, and other players seem to be having the same issue.

Has there been any comment on why? Is the Jove Empire disappearing from the game in all except lore, or are they undergoing a mass redesign? It would be a shame to see such an intriguing set of ships disappear

All those models were not actively used in the client and might not have been even v-2 compliant.

Change to the tutorials clearing up the mining laser needs looks good.

Mountains out of mole hills has a couple issues that i think are new however.

Salvaging tutorial opens up when you finish up 1 of 10 instead when you get on site to salvage. Items from stand alone tutorials drop into the station hanger and not your cargo hold if it stays where it is people will be leaving skill books where they do not want them.

Salvaging the civy ship takes a lot longer then i remember. Cycle runs a long time.

Portrait render on sisi is slow or is not updateing for new players.

Dear God, I think, for the fist time in 9+ years of subscription, that I should "rage quit".
Really, I do not know what to say to express my utterly complete frustration.
Being what are called a “vet”, and seeing the evolution of eve in almost 10 years, I speechless in see a BIGGER part of the game being removed.
Moreover, without any announcement, as per CCP usual.

Anyone else having troubles with PI? Specifically extractor heads not showing up, though power is deducted, and planets (in this case a gas planet, but not all gas planets) not showing at all in planet view? (The orbiting CO was still visible, as was the skybox.)

Stealth deletes are bad.

When accessing the overview while in station any changes made do not save.

Second release candidate axed 99.9% of the awesome filter/highlight feature. Only relic of it being a weak and boring string-literal matching. Sad

Here's to hoping this is a bug, or a temp withdrawal, and not someone just cba with char escaping. Regex matching was just the greatest undocumented feature.

Stealth deletes are bad.

Depends on if your character is in the data base over there. Passwords auto propagate now so if its there but the pass word is old wait a couple days. If its new or you where not subscribed at the last mirror you will have to wait till the next mirror.

Just a few short comments to a few mentioned issues:

PI issues: Confirmed and internal defect written.
"de rez" issues: Confirmed and defect written, but also present on TQ.
Pilgrim: Indeed, quite pink (at least in station). No idea if this is intended, I need to confirm with the art team.
Tutorial: I'll have a closer look later, probably on Monday together with the team, who was working on this.
Overview settings: Please post more details. Is this different to TQ?

Overview is the same on TQ. Devs and CSM have said that you have access to the overview in station using the short cut. They assumed you could change the settings but while that might have been the case it is currently broke.

Was the character creator reset i created a new test female character and have a male photo now. bug reported.

clearing cache did not pull the right file photo. Dev reset did not fix it either.

The issues with wrong character portraits should be fixed now (but you might have to clear your client cache once). We had a small configuration issue, and somehow Singularity was using the character portraits from Tranquility.

fix confirmed

They push the deployment back the deployment news article is gone in the launcher and the news page.
