Lol Yup. I came out and my kids were all "The station was blown up and we had to get our pods out!" LOL

I found it cute as all get out, my son's 6 and my daughter 10, who's now flying in the corp I made just for us, and the both of them had a blanket over the coffee table and this was their "pod". Then they came out and said they were podded and had to go to their rooms to their other clones LOL.

Man, this could get pretty interesting! believe I have created monsters! Alas, this is why Eve is great tho! Imagination sparked by CCP is the greatest part of the product they've produced, giving people the ability to truly reach for the stars! To own them even.

THANK YOU CCP! YOU GUYS ARE GREAT!

Just don't introduce them to Quafe before they're 18, and you'll be alright. Cool

One of ours, ten of theirs.

Seriously, exposing 6-10 yr old to a game like this wouldn't be a bad thing, except for the PEOPLE! Shocked

Awesome Big smile

I truly hope my girls turn out the same. P They're only 2 and 5 however, but already spend quite a bit of time watching me play. 2y/o especially loves seeing the warp effect "woooooooow!".

So you are saying that this children friendly game is the perfect recreation for families, right? Big smile Anyway, glad that your kids are enjoying the game - also out of the game.

My kids were running around fighting each other with their "drones" the other day. I asked them about it and they said, "like Zappity's little green friends".

Zappity's Adventures for a taste of lowsec and nullsec.

/me Dons his Dinsdale™ branded shiny hat.

CCP is Skynet, Eve is preparing your children for the upcoming apocalypse and dystopian thereafter.

On a serious note, I have tickets for the aforementioned apocalypse, includes transport to the venue, 2 decent seats and a 50% discount voucher for the buffet. Send me your isk now

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

If i had kids, i wouldn't expose them to EvE at such an early age. I'd find a lighter space/sci-fi genre for them to exercise their imaginations with, but definitely not EvE.

Next thing you know they'll be scamming you to boost their weekly allowance.

Also, what happens when they start claiming SOV? Does your wife realise you lot need to put up defensive SBU's before you're kicked out into NPC null? As in do your parents know you might be moving back in till you find a way to reclaim your house?

You didn't create monsters. EvE did. EvE always creates monsters.

Look forward to them podding the other kids at school and the teachers, or them throwing a sicky from school claiming that the teach has jump cloned to a different school so there's no one to look after them.

My daughter first saw Predator when she was about 1 year old.

As a parent I figured learning how to get to the chopper should be an essential part of early learning.

I bet you don't remember a thing when you were one year old.

My concern is the high-school/bro culture that is prevalent here in eve. Children are so easily impressed upon and pick up things really fast, whether they like it or not.

Regardless though, whether it's games, movies or whatever the medium is that influencing your kids the most important factor is you. How they witness you using, interacting or reacting to these things.

What I do remember from some of my earliest days was watching '80s horror movies with my dad, stuff like Friday the 13th and other stuff that would make parents of today recoil in horror. The biggest memories I took from that beyond any blood or gore was how much my dad used to laugh his arse off at it all, while eagerly explaining to me that it's just pretend and in fact is quite ridiculous. I turned out pretty much the same, still find Jason Voorhees funny as **** and believe Freddy Krueger is just lame in comparison.

Hmm I wonder if my Girls will do the same, I mean my 5 year old already watches me PVP and even back seat FC's me :/
Hearing a 5 year old getting excited and shouting Get the Pod! Get the Pod! is hilarious. Followed by Epic fail Dad. :(
