Monthly 100 Man Battle Royal


Here is the jist of it
I will post a date and time for the event. You will send 1 plex to a trusted third party They will confirm your plex and send you A number 1-100 and info to a mailing list and chat room, where I will Send out a mail via mailing list with a location for the event. Mailing list and chat room info will change for each event. You will then have an aloted time to move your ship to the location or forfit your spot. The pot of plex will be divided up after third party fees and every thing els amongst the top 5 people so example of pay out would be

20plex to event costs
30 to 1st
20 to 2nd
15 to 3rd
10 to 4th
5 to 5th
Plex pay outs subject to change

Rules-subject to change
100 man all out every one against each other
Empire rules so no capitals,bombs ect ect
No cloaking, warping off ect ect
Remeber what you fly may get 99 other pilots targeting you so expect to lose what you bring
All droped items will be collected reproccessed and sold to buy stuff for a raffle for future event or a charity I dunno maybe donate it to ccp for thoes new play training events they have
Any one suspected of teaming up with other pilots will be removed from event with out question This is your warning

How the event will start
All pilots will warp to me where i will have several cans set up with book marks with your numbers in them you each will be expected to have your ships Name match your number....when i say go all pilots will loot thier book mark and align to its location when i give the command all pilots will have approx 1min or so to get off my grid and warp to thier book mark where fighting will start as soon as you land....failure to get off grid and warp to your book mark will get you removed from the event

Now my original idea was to base this in empire space and have all pilots go suspect from looting from my cans and then warping to the battle field to fight and any pilot whos suspect timer drops will be consider a loss this forces every one to start fighting in a given time frame ill will delibertly run down every ones suspect timer befor they warp off to hasten the starting of combat with that said I relize the opertunity 100 people going suspect could be to ganks hence the last minute location info and the exacte time of event is subject to and probably will change to help throw off any one who might want to spoil the event so please make sure you have the whole day available for the event. as well as prizes may change due to need to pay for security for event. and what ever. im hoping the greater good of our games community would come out and realize the fun this could bring to many players and not just them selfs

This is just a rough idea and so needs to be polished so I would like to welcome any and and all cronstructive feeback and ideas to assist with this Trolls can go troll elswhere pls and thank you... Id really like to get CCP's assistance with this event i think it would be alot of fun for combatants and spectators alike you dont get to see battles like this very often in eve where you have even close to 100 pilots all out for blood. Again payouts are not set in stone a TRUSTED third party holder still needs to be found i was thinking Chribba for the third party if hes willing and not sure what he would charge for it.

TL;DR you want to get an easy 12-13bil out of an unoriginal idea by overcharging competitors in what is likely to be a poorly-organized and disappointing event. I wish you luck getting a single competitor that isn't an acquaintance you've forced into taking part.

Please explain how im getting an easy 12-13bil. last time I checked getting a trusted third party to hold the plex isn't free plus there may be other cost as well. If you took the time to read I was very clear that the prize amounts were not set as I have to see how much it will be to hire a trusted third party. And over charging really come on now 1 plex really I make that in a day goofing off. 1plex per person isn't over charging its making a pot worth trying to win plus it may help to promote back stabbing and what not to keep friends from teaming up to take the pot. OHHHH and lastly unoriginal Ive been in and out of eve for awhile now Ive never really seen a battle of this scale where its every one for them selfs no teams . I mean I don't wanna bash any one but seriously you always seem team A vs Team B arena style tournys all the time every where that's unoriginal just saying.

So quit trollin with your poor 1plex is overcharing unoriginal self and move along I asked for constructive feed back

Hmm. You're right. I was a tad blunt. Allow me to actually be constructive.

I'll point out what I was bluntly stating earlier - 20 PLEX to "event costs" is a LOT of isk. I hope you reconsider this amount, as dropping bookmarks in a can isn't exactly high cost or high labour for anyone. It just seems a lot for you to keep for yourself. I'm aware thid party will cost money, but it'll still leave you walking away with a lot more isk than many would see as appropriate.

In regards to it being expensive, allow me to be more detailed. Most people who can actually afford to blow a PLEX on a highsec competition like this are usually either industriialists (no interest in PvP) or nullsec dwellers (no interest in highsec events). Your biggest target market with this event are highsec missioners who are bored running lvl 4s, looking for a taste of PvP. And charging a PLEX puts this way out of their price range. I'd recommend lowering the cost down to a reasonable sum (50-100mil, maybe?) that more people who'd be interested in this can actually afford. You say you can make a PLEX by "goofing off". So can I, but A lot of people can't.

The way you're actually planning the event to run is flawed in itself, but if you gain enough support for running this sort of thing, I'm sure the kinks can be ironed out.

TL;DR - Too expensive for casual missioners, who would be the most interested in this event.
