Thanks for playing, here is your fabulous parting gift.

So if mittens gets drunk and says bad things about someone its cyberbullying but if you sit here on these forums of supposed clarity of mind and spew the garbage and RL insults you do its kosher. You're a punk and a cyberbully.

Erotica is right, the Mittani deserves to be CSM Chair and should never have had to resign.

Hearing people use stupid words like "cyber-bully" makes me want to vomit.

Gonna stop you right there before you make an even bigger tool of yourself. A single comment isn't bullying and given that he did it at fanfest, not online, removes the cyber aspect of it, too.

Bullshiat. He did it on a f*cking internet LIVE STREAM. Quit being an apologist twunt. He did it. End of story.

You seem pretty upset. Do you need a hug?

The fact that a camera was there is not the same as him doing it online. He was speaking in person to a bunch of other people in the room. That it was streamed is incidental.

I am not a big fan of Mittani but I think it is time he be forgiven for that drunken rant. We all put our foot in our mouths at one time or another. For good or bad, Mittani is a big part of the game and influences many things. Though I think those that worship him on these forums are absolute knuckle draggers, in this case I agree with them. (not that I would vote for him, I just think he should be able to run if he wants).

Nope.

Play EvE how you want to play it and do not let others dictate how you play. Evolve your playstyle to protect yourself from others! Even in "PVE", "PVP" is there, lurking in the shadows.

Evidently you don't understand what "cyberbullying" actually means. Also, you really should consider taking a chill pill.

Cyber bullying:

He told people to try to make this guy kill himself. In and out of game. On a live stream over the internet. To use in game mechanics and out of game mechanics to get other people to attempt to make another human being end their own life.

You do not know what the f*ck you are talking about.

Heck, at this point and with the way things are, with the $10 Groupies he's got, lauding them to do that to a person could probably also be classified as Cyber Terrorism if we wanted to go to real extremism.

No.

He carries too much baggage (reputation) that is likely to distract from both the work of the CSM and the efforts of CCP to evolve the game.

This poster seems rather annoyed, one could even say apoplectic, and it seems to be affecting the reasoning centre of his brain.

First things first: People need to stop griping over The Wiz incident. You guys have convinced yourself that the victim here was so innocent. How do you know? The guy puts a 50-barge fleet into populated ice belts on a regular basis. Is that not something only a douche bag would do?

With that said, TheMittani is one of the worst candidates for CSM.
1) Leader of the largest in-game alliance, an alliance which has stated many times it's goal is to ruin EVE.
2) Alliance and it's leaders judge players on a mass scale due to how they play the game. The alliance and it's leadership have shown an inability to be objective in their thinking time and time again. Whether this is or isn't for luls/roleplay/fun is irrelevant as we can only vote based on the content we've seen, and that's the content.
3) Runs a media website, thus there is a clear conflict of interest. Surely we wouldn't vote the major investors of CNN or Fox to represent us in government, would we? Oh wait we have... well, different argument for a different day Big smile

Dat thread....., as much as it pains me to say this, Erotica is right. Shocked

I just love it when EvE players try to hide the ~grr goons~ behind some thin veil of humanity and decent social behaviors.

Why is someone playing the game within the rules somehow a douche bag? The ice is a 'public resource', don't like what he's doing grab 50 of your own ice minig ships (or 50 friends) and/or otherwise out mine his ass.

Doing what he's doing is gathering resources for himself and denying to resources to his competition. EVE allows co-operative game play but it allows (and I think encourages) competative game play. Wiz or whatever his name is is competing.

So again, how does playing the game within the rules somehow make him douche baggy?

You mean like you just judged the guy with the 50 barges who isn't breaking any rules?
