You might want to re-read my post and at least try and understand it. Ahh yes Goon should have known better my bad.

Being cheap to a countries "standard" is a pretty pointless quote, when everything costs 3x times as much as anywhere else within a certain sphere of course the wages are usually higher, unless your in some tinpot banana republic.

When I can buy items for a third of the price in my own country and the same item is 3x more in yours then obviously I'm going to say it's bloody expensive over there regardless of personal wealth, hazards of living in the arse-end of nowhere i suppose.

Nice place though been a few times and have family over there so get board and scran free.

Then you sit out in a hot tub by a river watching the northern lights with a £7 pint of beer in your hand and love it anyway.

The wife and I went to fan fest in 07. Iceland is beautiful, cold as death (esp when you are skinny like me, man I froze my nuts off) but it was a good time. We were gonna try and go last year, but kiddo and family things made that a no go. Oh well, maybe next year
