You know what I'm hearing from you?

Unwillingness do something about a thing you complain about. I'm not a Goon, nor do I expect I shall ever be, but I cannot ignore the combination of hypocrisy and cowardice in all you "Grr Goons" people.

You're anklebiters, plain and simple.

Not at all. I don't mind goons in game. I have respect for they did and are doing in game - all of their achievements. But the attitude as an in game corp, imho, have no place on the CSM. Which is the issue of this topic.

Than shows everyone what you are and lets stop throwing catch phrases around. Everyone is responsible for their own image. This needs to work both ways. If you cared about your (goons) image, you would do something about it.

Obviously, you don't care.

p.s.
Again, I don't think the goons are evil, but that one person is the leader of the goons. Doesn't that mean someting?

And there's no need to care. No need to care about your opinion either. It's irrelevant. You might not even be glad you're *allowed* to *have* an opinion and just take it for granted that you can fling it around like a monkey throwing his crap at other monkeys he doesn't like.

bingo, his pig not being a goat doesn't make the pig wrong, just him an idiot for shouting at his pig "WHY ARENT YOU A GOAT!" (Source)

It doesn't matter how players feel about a candidate until the time comes to vote. The only thing, to my knowledge, that prevents Mittens from running is his desire not to. CCP explicitly stated in their devblog after the Fanfest incident that he may be eligible to run for the CSM in the future: "As per our policies, this candidate may be eligible to run at a later date subject to candidacy review." Public opinion doesn't have any bearing on the eligibility of a candidate - one may point out the case of Fon Revedhort being barred from running, but that was entirely based on CCP's judgment. The players that objected to his candidacy only brought his questionable posts to CCP's attention, and CCP's judgment in that case was based on the possibility of his presence in the CSM being toxic for both the members of the council and CCP staff participating in their discussions.

In the bulk of this anti-Goon grumbling, am I the only admitted high-sec carebear that mostly enjoys the Goon's antics? I find a lot of entertainment in reading or hearing about how a poor noob and/or ignorant player (or group) falls for well known recruitment scams and the burn Jitas/Hulkageddon when GSF generally makes these things public knowledge well in advance.

How much did he pay you to say this?

People have to be paid to want an effective CSM chair?

Sure, why not? Btw... I have 4 votes for sale if anyone wants to pay for them. Lol

and considering how much of a frothing rage you get into every time somebody brings up Goonswarm I don't think you get to talk about "tears" lmao

When I was in high school, our high school football coach had a policy against "trash talking". You know, talking "mess" to the opposing team or responding to the same. Doing so, even in anger, would get you benched. As kids, we didn't understand it, the trash talking was the second most fun part of football (after tackling some dude who made the mistake of touching the ball while not being on our team lol).

He directed us to be silent if we were losing, but if we were winning we could use one reply. If the other team started trash talking because they were losing, we were allowed to point at the score board and say "oh, look at that score there"..... which we did. It infuriated opposing teams way more than any trash talk did and that fury helped them lose and us win.

Same with our silence at losing, after high school I had guys from other schools come up and tell me "man, you suckers were scary as hell when yuo were losing, that wall of silence was unnerving". So unnerving we almost never lost and won State my junior year.

The coach was teaching us to be men about it, because it's childish to display your impotence to someone who is beating you at a game when you should be redoubling your physical efforts to win, and it's unworthy of a man to gloat or respond to trash talk when he is winning. He told us "talking is all those losers CAN do, you know when they resort to that, you're winning, even if you don't glance at the score board".

I tell that story because every time there is a post about Mittani or Goons, here come the impotent losers brigade to talk crap about them and puff themselves up as if they aren't impotent losers. The worst thing is this is what Goons want, because like my coach, they know they are winning when weak and ineffective people (who can't even muster enough internet space ships to challenge them on the score board/SOV map) have nothing else at their disposal but writing "strongly worded letters" (posts) on the internet.

I'm blue to them right now, but in the past I expressed my disagreement with Goons with space-firearms, not posts.

Also need I point out the hypocrisy of dragging somebody's name through the mud for two years and calling them a "proven cyberbully" at every opportunity?

Wow.

Everyone calm the frak down. I got this.

Poe's law dictates that one can't detect sarcasm on the internet without proper information.

Also, that story about trash talking is the ****.

I don't know what they do that is so bad, it's what they don't do. I don't think they are evil or something, but if you have such an influence on a game and it's community, wouldn't it be best to act accordingly?

From my point of view, they act a bit selfishly, as I read from their comments here and there.

It's a game , we all play it to work towards our own goal not the goals of others unless we have mutuall goals. So yes they are selfish in a way , as we all are ... Roll

Don't get me wrong they can behave like lill schoolkids a lot of the time , but hey if that's what they enjoy doing then all the better for them.

We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.

No thanks I will PASS.
