Without having checked - I thought that the LE ships did have modified stats for some things

LE to me means that they may have a logo/skin/stat change that is not available elsewhere and should not be available in the new painting/schemes that they may release or implement.

I dont think for example my purple Iterons with Quafe logo's will be available in the new painting shop - but if someone paints an iteron purple - i still think my LE is actually different as it has the Quafe Logo on it....

However the point is well taken OP - CCP should think about this as they approach the subject in general. LE needs to be "special" somehow from people trying to paint something to "look" like and LE ship.

CCP can modify stats/logo's/paint schemes to make sure they are unique and prized possessions.

Ishokune Watch should not get special treatment, it never was supposed to be special, just a "thank you".
The whole drama started ONLY because some collectors with more ISK than sense payed billions for them.
So I say, screw those guys and make it a normal painted scorp just like all the other repainted ships.

All those small reskinned frigates and destroyers, they aren´t that expensive anyway, so no special treatment there.

The Quafe Iterons though...well, they really have some special flavour. But I think it just makes sense that the main hauler of one of the biggest corporations in New Eden is seen often, so they really shouldn´t get special treatment either.
That said, I want a Quafe Obelisk.

Custom ship skins, character creator style "repaint". Bring it!
