I would like to emphasize, again, that Nauplius is not an Imperial citizen and his actions do not reflect Imperial policy. He is a subject of the Khanid Kingdom. His actions are condemned in the strongest possible manner by Imperial capsuleers.

For my part, I consider my position adequately expressed by the original post as well as the additional evidence presented in posts #13 and #58.

Additionally, I consider the behavior of the Amarr Bloc in this thread and the supporting threads, frantically distancing themselves from their birthright of brutal conquest and brutal slavery, as exemplary evidence of my thesis — that the Amarr people have become weak in the eyes of a holy and righteous God, and we must by blood sacrifice of those we willingly and opening declare to be filthy subhumans prove ourselves worthy to God of a renewed Reclaiming. Amen. Amarr Victor.

I look forward to seeing further evidence of your faith. At present your position seems much stronger than any of your detractors, given that you have actually done something while they have meekly sputtered on the IGS.

I'm fairly certain the man in question spent about as much effort and exercised as much skill in murdering those slaves as I did typing this sentence.

Efficiency is a commendable trait. What is your point exactly?

As odious as I find them, each and every member of PIE (Well, ok... not Rodjy) does more to strengthen their nation and its cause every time they take a **** than this joke managed to accomplish during the entirety of his life.

You say that he "did something" and therefore is awarded a merit of credibility over those whom have "meekly sputtered".

But his action had no meaningful result. As callous as it may sound, those slaves were just a drop in the bucket, and many likely faced equally cruel fates. He accomplished no tangible goal, forwarded no agenda, and ultimately succeeded in doing nothing but indulging in a moment of masturbatory cruelty.

So if the merit you're affording him has no basis in results, it must find its basis in the sheer effort of the act itself; the expenditure of great effort in pursuit of a goal no matter how large or small is a laudable thing (in most societies).

But, as I said, he expended no effort, and achieved no meaningful result. What, exactly, is worthy of praise?

My "agenda" is stated in the original post and subsequent clarifications listed a few posts above. Since this sacrifice was an offering to God, its "success" must be judged in theological terms. Unfortunately, since God moves on his own timetable and (often) in invisible ways, we may never have unambiguous empirical evidence whether God has accepted my sacrifice.

I, however, do not require empirical evidence; my faith tells me that God is pleased by my work but demands yet further sacrifice before He finds me most worthy of His power; furthermore, my faith tells me that God demands demands repeated sacrifices from many Amarrians before he might find our Empire worthy of his boon and blessing, for so low have we fallen in decadence and liberalism.

So a bit of an update for you lovely bastards. A few neutral allies tracked nappy poo here a good many times. The majority of fleet was deployed to a wormhole and couldn't give chase, but some of our more enterprising stalked him. We'll be publishing a nice summary of where he goes and at what times for all to use. I'm sure nappy here would love a visit and discussion over tea before someone breaks the teapot over his head and shoves the shards down his throat til he sounds like a baby toy when you shake his corpse.

My sporty little Malediction and I made it to Delve to collect Anyanka's beautiful gift last night, with only one instant lock warp disruption event to startle the opiates out of my system.

The charming staff in the Blood Raider Doohickie Assemblage Factory did a wonderful job preparing the cave to which I was assigned, despite having a standing with the Covenant even worse than that which I enjoy with the Republic. As is appropriate for any Witching Tomb, there was a beautiful zircon crystal ball. Furthermore, when I swung through scary Khanid space, I managed to pick up the sacrificial dagger my body double used to scribble appropriate runic symbols into dearest Vitalia's back.

So I've got a body, a dagger, and a crystal ball. I shall now peer into the future.

Oh my goodness! Nauplius has exploded! Wait, wait... he got better. And he has a message.

"I visited my God today. He smiled upon me and commended me for my work - which remains unfinished. I return with renewed determination to bring the message of Purification to those who have lost sight of Holy Amarr's True Purpose. May the Unworthy and Unrighteous continue to suffer torments and depredations in the fiery bowels of Hell."

The fellow really does have charm.

He entered a few numbers in a buy order ticket; he herded some cattle to slaughter; and, he fired some lasers. As you say, his effort expended was very low. The result of his effort, even if one discounts his claim that his actions were in accordance with his faith and therefore brought him a deeper fulfillment than can be expressed in this forum, is to annoy and to outrage an empirically measurable group of people into many pages of impotent sputtering across multiple threads on the IGS. He both accomplished his intended goal, and he did it in the face of opposition and ridicule, with as you say a minimal effort.

In the social sciences, the ability to achieve one's goals despite opposition is the very definition of Power.

Good for him.

Even the tiny tropical island which provides me with shelter and champagne at the moment, did not remain silent and the news of the Saloti Incident reached my ears. As always Samira Kernher’s blunt “opinions” and the constant outrage of those who claim this and that is morally monstrous and those who believe it is daily business, have become a predictable ritual...

However, I have some questions for Mr Nauplius: Can you elaborate on what makes slaves subhuman? What were they punished for? [You said that you exercised capital punishment.] For the weakness of the Amarr Empire? Why do you care about that when you are a citizen of the Kingdom? What does your holder think of this?

Love,
Odelya

I must congratulate you for never failing to present yourself as the Amarr that you are. The few times I have run across you in the proxy warzone, you've never varied from your professions of faith; nor do you do so now. I've come to find a measure of comfort in having at least one of you that will show your true face and true beliefs in public, instead of practicing the constant white washing that many of your brethren seem to cling to.

You are the Amarr that they secretly wish they could be, had they not allowed themselves to become chastened by the light of popular opinion. I detest you for what you are, but I also respect your willingness to embrace it without apology. To look a man in the face and know that he hates you is better than looking at one and seeing that he wants to hate you, if only his conscience would allow.

Your Grace —

Slaves abide under the wrath of God due not only to their sins but also those of their forebearers from the time when, as the Scriptures say, "blasphemy and heresy ruled the land." God burns with wrath toward them; He loathes them not less that we loath a fedo dung beetle; He loathes them not less than those whom He has already sent to Abaddon. Only the Amarr, the Chosen of God, the elect of God, the ones of whom the Scriptures say "lived righteously and in fear of God" are spared from birth the wrath of God.

As a slaveowner, I have both legal and moral power of life and death over these filthy wretches. I chose for them death.

I often use the word Amarr in an imprecise fashion where the term "Greater Amarr" might be more appropriate.

I would not presume to bother my holder (Zidarez Khanid of the Royal Khanid Navy) with petty questions about slaves than I would ask him whether I had permission to push garbage out my airlock.

You might want to reconsider that line of thought, seeing as how your actions can bring political/economic backlash upon him and disrupt any plans or investments he may working on. If you had been in my charge I would have had you flayed alive for that alone.
