As an avid enthousiast of pwetty colours, I am very happy to see this finally being seriously concidered.

If the eventual system allows for enough customization, I feel alliance tournaments and large fleet battles will be alot clearer for outsiders to understand.

Yes, it's definitely a step in the right direction.
