CCP persuaded us everyone around is a scammer or doesn't deserve our help. So you'll have to purchase couple GTCs from them to sell and compensate your loss.

So you were out for a while and 40 minutes back you jumped into a billion ISK hull you couldn't afford to replace? And you didn't bother to read up on patches and ship changes? No bastion module?

Sounds a bit careless. Sorry for your loss; a hard lesson learned.

Indeed.

Besides, begging is still frowned upon.

Like everyone else go back to a lower ship and work up, if you don't want to put in the effort than this isn't the game for you. FYI you toon can't do anything with out you to control, it doesn't go off and do mission by itself

I, too, have lost a ship. Let us run missions together in the same corp and well make you that Isk back.

I lost a shiny ship please give me isk. How about.... No.

Stop begging like a damn peasant and go make some isk yourself like the rest of us. We're not your personal charity.

Since you managed to lose a Palladin, link a KM in general discussion and beg for ISK there's only one true way of saving you.

That way is ignoring your plea and forcing you to build up knowledge about EVE in ships you can properly fly and afford to lose.

My pleasure and welcome back to EVE!

1- pilot is dumb to not read patchnotes after not plaing for some time
2- pilot is dumb enought to actually die in a mission (cause a corrrect fit paladin, even from before patch, would have survived)
3- pilot is dumb enought for complaining / whining about it on forum.

tldr; pilot is dumb, game punished him for being dumb, working as intended

also, welcome back Big smile

That's all there is to it. EVE punishes stupidity, if it didn't, it wouldn't be EVE.

No.. Just no...

You losing your paladin because you didn't bother to catch up on what's new isn't worth me donating a single ISK to save your EVE. No one could save your EVE except yourself. If you had purchased a bastion module your paladin would have shrugged off all of the DPS because of the resists bonuses and the 100% rep bonus it offers.

That was an even harder pill to swallow because these guys probably stalked me for a bit, found a chance and took me out with 10 destroyers (which took about 6-7 seconds). What's worse, is that ship was paid by whatever I had left from constantly running L4's and by PLEX's.. which is far worse.

I took a month off, came back, worked my way up to now having an asset base of around or over 3.5 billion (and I have a PVP alt that I support).

So here's a suggestion: man the hell up and take the loss. Get a T1 battleship, do the grind, save up, be disciplined, get another Paladin and do it right this time (fit a bastion module). As long as you don't make it a gank pinata by fiting faction/deadspace modules on it (marauders don't need faction/deadspace these days), you will never have to worry about losing it ever again, unless you're just seriously stupid.

I'm not posting to just be a **** and further assist you in deciding to biomass your character and quit EVE for good. If you take it that way, it's not my problem. Things like that don't teach if all you hear is "oh, I'm so sorry" and "oh man, that really sucks." It definitely doesn't teach you anything by having people you don't know throw ISK at you so you can replace your shiny marauder. In that case, you won't learn anything, and when you do replace it, it wouldn't mean jack squat to you. Take it or leave it, but 90% of the people who replied here, while might not be the nicest or the most compassionate, are actually trying to help.
