What's the best ship and fitting to use if I want to bump a freighter and orca away from his mass of alt mining barges?

I can use a Stabber, or a Machariel, whatever is best. I'm aware that you need a 100mn MWD on both ships. But what about the mass and speed equation? A Machariel can get far more mass, what is it like for bumping large ships compared to a Stabber?

both depending on ur budget.

i think mack is better its got a larger hit box so easier to make contact.

using the stabber is a bit like trying to thread a needle at 100000mph

Machariel is within my budget, I should even have support from a skirmish warfare pilot for the MWD speed boost gang module.

Then go for it, its top notch for the application at hand. Remember to also use implants like the very inexpensive Zor's Hyper-link to boost your speed.

If you are trying to bump a freighter, being larger is not really important as they are themself pretty easy to hit.
