Bump bomb

A bomb that will move ships away from its blast radius, knock off gates, stations or knock ships into POS forceshields could be used for good or bad.

Would give Stealth bombers another role.

I could see so many abuse coming from that ^^

Assuming you want something this powerful at all, the bump effect would have to be quite moderate so it requires a substantial amount of bombs to dislodge a capital ship, or even a battleship. Frigates could be sent flying all over the place though !

Also, "bump bomb" is a cool name.

If the freighter is in null or wh space with hostiles, there are bigger issues.

Just restrict these bombs to < 0.4, or even 0.0 only.

Almost nothing you can do to a freighter counts as griefing.

I can see this being used to "bump" a lit cyno into POS shields.

Or to try and circumvent CCP's declaraction that bumping ships out of a POS field is an exploit.

Like all other bombs they wouldn't do anything to a ship in POS shields, and IIRC cyno spheres stay outside of POS shields even if the ship that lit them somehow got in. But this would clearly still be an exploit, I don't think that's an issue at all.

Also this sounds hilarious. +1

Tell me again about how every playstyle you dont engage in "doesn't require any effort" and everyone who does it needs to die in a fire. Be sure to mention about how you tried it once but it was too easy/boring/ethnic-homophobic slur.

Yeah, it'd be awesome in a wormhole - whenever someone jumps blast them out of radius from jumping back...

definitely

The bump would definitely have to be proportional to the mass of the ship(s) affected, I think frigate bowling would be great.

i think it would be pretty hilarious.

Would need a gravity bomb to pull ships together into the point of detonation.

If you suck them together with a gravity bomb then hit them with a bump bomb then they get ejected from grid.

If you're in a location where bombs can be launched, bumping is the least of your worries. Not even sure the mombs would be necessary in that enviroment either

Lets say a 10km-20km bump radius dependable the relative ships mass etc. etc.
(so you cant bomb a nyx out of a pos for example)

T2 Bomb launchers only ( goes under ewar bombs )

I would love to see that !!!
