Too much things going on, for my taste. Piercings, tattoos, scars, eye-thingy and that background..
It still somehow looks impressive, haha. I also think you should turn your shoulders a little more in the direction you are facing, might look even more confrontational and supplement your scary look. Though I could be wrong.

Edit: You changed the position of your shoulders. I like it better this way, looks more natural and at least as threatening. :)

the placement is intentional since the pose puts the hands in a place where they look kinda silly. if you look closely, the fingers of the right hand are inside the left arm.

As for Kairavi - I'm not sure what you were trying to do with your avatar. it seems rather like a standard, non-interesting avatar, even tho you have less clothing than some.

Nice arms.

The pose and face look somehow quite mature, very attractive. The eyepiece really disturbs the image though, it looks like it just doesn't belong, so i have to take a point off for that...

There's something intriguing with that look, I just can't put my finger on it. Lighting is a bit too bright and frontal for my taste.
