Manson Family is the founding corp of Advent of Fate.
We currently live in NPC null.

Manson Family itself was founded more than 7 years ago and many of the members have been in the corp all that time.
We run primarily as a PvP corp specialising in small and medium gang PVP looking to engage superior forces using superior tactics. Great emphasis is placed on flying your own ship and ongoing pvp training and education. FC training is also a large part of what we do and our lead FC's are amongst the best in the game.

Much of our PVP is for the pure joy of it and so CTA's , structure bashing and having a giant blue list is not something that we are keen on and play a minimal part in what we do. We do however have long term plans and goals and so apart from the roams for fun we do focus on specific entities using skirmish tactics to disrupt their fleets and their ratting space. Cloaky cynos, blops and repeated ambushing of their null PVEers is very much part of our attempts to disrupt morale and income of whoever our current targets are.

Generally pilots are expected to be self sufficient , to be able to move through null and low sec intelligently and to have sufficient income to keep them in ships. Teaching in all aspects of moving around, fitting , PVP and Isk income is available to those who make an effort to join the community we already have. Our corp contains experts in most PVE including manufacturing on every scale, PI, WH's. missions, incursions etc. (mining is an exception. If you must mine we operate a don't ask don't tell philosophy.)

We also operate team building events. These include.

1. King of the hill.
This event involves RR BS /T3 and once we find a gate we like then we stay there.
warping off is banned. every ship must die.
prizes available for various metrics including most killmails, most kills total, biggest loss, last man standing.

2. The 1shot1kill club. Run by one of our allies once a month.
Interceptor only fleet.
1 shot of alcohol muct be consumed for every kill (including pods) that the fleet achieves.
1 shot consumed for every friendly ship lost.
Last club outing saw 8.5 bill in kills from out 20 man intie gang.
In related news 2 of our corp mates have had successful liver transplants.

3. High sec ganking fleets. various flavours usually with income in mind.

4. Manson tournies.
Usually t1 frigs or cruisers.
played in high sec at safespots.
everyone vs everyone. Last man standing is the winner.

5. Null plexing fleets.
Done in our neighbours space. Sometimes thoughtfully stocked with bonus Tengus that we can kill and loot before finishing the site.

6. The birthday roam.
This annual event is open to Manson pilots and a few close friends of Manson and normally inolves the distruction of something we dislike. Last year it was ravens. To make sure as many ravens as possible died we ran a raven only fleet.

What we want from you.
1. Basic interview and backround check performed by me.
2. A team attitude. We operate as a group of friends and we are looking for people that want to join our community and that fit in with our ethos.
3. An ability to cope with our corp/fleet chat. It is NSFW. It is not politically correct. Comms are normally open unless intel is incoming or battlecoms.
4. For you to join our fleets. We have roams in EU and US prime most days. No one is expected to have anywhere near 100% attendance but having a close to 0% will result in a warning followed by expulsion (prewarned afk for IRL stuff excepted).
5. We have a one month trial period in which we assess your fleet attendance. your ability to take direction and learn from mistakes /advice and on whether you are annoying or not. Whilst non of the metrics used for any of those criteria are massively onerous it has been known for especially annoying exmembers to be the object of internal (alliance only) bounties paid for killmails.

We have a variety of doctrines which are kept in stock fully fitted on alliance contract in our home station. Many of these are t2 frigs and t1/faction cruisers and so are open to low SP chars. Most fleets have space for interceptors and electronic attack frigs making these perfect for new players to train into so they can be helpful in every fleet.

Please mail /convo me for more details before applying as applications without a short interview will be rejected.
