Yeah that has worked, but this still needs to be patched.

Mine started freezing after about 10 seconds of doing anything (start on 02/04/2014) but finally stopped freezing once I changed the graphic settings for Performance (Settings - Display & Graphics - Graphic Content Settings - Optimize Settings - Optimize Settings for Performance - Apply). Since then I have been able to play without issues on my Mac mini.

I had this black screenissue 2 weeks, but it started to work last week in windowed mode. I
Haven't tested in full window yet.

Got it, and this does seem to match with crash dumps we've been trying to figure out. Sadly, no repro on our end, but hopefully we can figure this out from the clues we now have.

We have found a probable cause for the crash happening around the Gallente station, we'll get a patch out as soon as we can.

I still can't play EVE for more than 10 or so minutes, not since February 2 or 4, can't remember the exact day anymore.

My last contact with support was when I asked for a refund. That was over a week ago. I have not heard anything back. What's going on? I can't play the game or get my money back?

MacBook Air, 1.8 Ghz Intel Core i5, 13"

Multiple freezes daily. I am playing in windowed mode. Am used to the Mac freezes as Eve has always been like this but the other night the IU froze as I warped into a Lvl 4 Mission.

I got to sit back and watch my ship be devoured as I was powerless to use any part of the IU for defense. That was a joyous first.

I quit playing Eve a couple years ago and just started back last month. And had hoped that the Mac issues would be better. Not.

Put in a ticket. Still waiting. But not holding my breath.

Today's patch had an attempted fix for this. We couldn't repro the crash inhouse so we couldn't confirm. We did find a bug, an invalid draw call that on most machines would simply not render the lights on a station for the first frame but seemed to cause the crash on some Mac setups. It's probably a combination of certain hardware and OS (or rather driver) versions.

Anyway, hopefully this issue is fixed now!

No fix on my end. I froze within 15 minutes of undocking and was in an asteroid belt.

The fix was specifically for the case where a specific Gallente station was in view. There must be another root cause for the crash you are experiencing - we'll have to keep at it.

I was freezing over and over again last night. Changed to windowed mode and turned my graphics to performance, but it continued. Now this morning seems much better, but I can't read any of my mail. Server side stuff going on?

Last night there was server stuff going on. You can check http://eve-offline.net/?server=tranquility when you are having issues and see if the plot shows an odd drop in user count. Last night when I was getting freezes the plot showed just that.
