She was certainly missed. My steward, Miss Andiun, was so looking forward to her attending, as I had tasked her with making sure she was comfortable. I know she also wanted to see if Miss Shelby would be interested in some of her special tea.

It also would have been lovely to finally meet one of the Dusettes in person. I was disappointed that she could not make it, but I assumed that there were complications, so I was not offended.

Fortunately, there will be more in the future of varying degrees of formality, so she need not be too devastated. Please let her know I was pleased that she wished to attend, and I look forward to her making an appearance at a future function.

Well pilot Candi and I have been staying in Empire now for a number of days and I'm assuming we'll be here for a lil longer.

If you'd like to meet, perhaps share a synth-coffee or ten, then let me know and I'll forward you our location. You're more than welcome to drop by and meet in person if you're inclined and we're not otherwise pre-occupied with violence.

Since we arrived Miss LeMew has been quite ill in fact. The Matari food here has given her food poisoning, so perhaps you could bring something a lil more civilized with you to eat and I'll happily reimburse you, ah. We'd certainly both appreciate it.
