Not sure if this is technically possible but was a little inspired by chapter 1 of the darkhorse eve comic.

In the final part of chapter one we see some unsavoury (sorry goons lol) characters saved by a rather insane looking bloke who if I read it right is an alt of one of the main characters in this story (trying to post this without too many spoilers but I guess we all know the story right?).

Basically the main guy stumbles drunk into his quarters and there is this other clone hanging there who is clearly another character and represents another part of the mains (or players in this case) personally. He switches to this char then goes and does some YARRRing.

Why not have a chamber accessible from within the CQ where you can see the other characters that you have on that account hanging/lying in a clone vat.

You select one of the other characters and it loads them into the current station. This could only be visible for clones that have the current station flagged as their home base. This would start to expand the CQ mechanics a little.

CCP has already said there are significant technical hurdles that would need to be overcome and that it's not worth their developer time for the foreseeable future. This was one of the most requested features during the "Little Things" voting stage.

But they don't consider the massive investment of time required to bypass it a significant tradeoff for players not having to spend a few more seconds switching characters on an account.

Edit: I'm referring to the quick swapping of chars logged in, not to any of your ideas about CQ (which most people hate), or odd requirements of having the home station but not the physical location be the same enabling you to somehow teleport your other char to their home base.

Translation: They suck at programming.

file this idea under "probably never"

"**CCP is changing policy, and has asked that we discontinue the bonus credit program after November 7th. So until then, enjoy a super-bonus of 1B Blink Credit for each 60-day GTC you buy!"**

Never forget.
