Station interiors need some love.

The are so many different station designs, but the interiors are all the same based on station race (dont mean the CQ). How about a little variety in station interiors just to keep things interesting?

I really don't want to see anymore updates that only have station interior stuff. I would rather see CCP spend time/money on developing content that actually effects game play.

I have to agree with Tabris. I can't support any visual updates to the captain's quarters for the foreseeable future (and even beyond). I would be in favor of meaningful content outside of ships if it truly added to EVE's overall health, but even this distant goal ranks way higher than artistic changes that actually take up quite a bit of time and resources.

I'm with Doireen. It has always puzzled me that the races all have a variety of external designs for their stations, but each has only one style of hangar interior .

I am often heard to lamant the state of the game portions of EVE. They did a pretty poor job either in developing the original cq stuff, or else they spent a lot of time developing tools they now dont use.

There used to be a few station interiors per race, what you see now was a graphical update that, as per normal EVE dev cycle on anything not PvP related was half finished and left to rot, and was supposed be replaced by the CQ until people had a fit. Some computers just wont load that stuff.

I am not sure what is up with the CQ graphics, or dust particles in space, but that stuff really works over some graphics.

The worst part is that they could probably turn over the tools to build those interiors to the playerbase and assign an intern or someone to monitor for genetalia wallpapers, and some players would turn you out 15 interiors per race in a few weeks for practically free. The biggest challenge would be getting whoever is responsible for creating the world of EVE out of whichever dungeon they have locked him in to pick the environments that best fit the vision of the world.

Its a total fluff project though, and since nothing would explode it wont get any worthwhile attention.

I support this idea, and of more development of CQ and walking in stations.

It doesn't explode and it's not being requested by the top handful of alliances.

It's not going to happen.

If we relied only on what the "top" alliances wanted, we would still be using vector graphics.

Players focused on pew-pew will only want things that affect pew-pew. I am more interested in IMMERSION. The more immersion, the better the illusion that Im a space pilot, the more I will return to the make believe world of New Eden.

I would rather like to see different station interiors, where each station type has its own unique docking bay. For that matter, it would also be a Very Good Thing if the owner of that station had its logo around somewhere, rather than the standard racial emblem.

The art team would be developing this content, and their projects usually don't hold gameplay developments back, so new ship hangars would be more than welcome. The ship hangar is an area I'm sure players see a lot, so an update wouldn't be a bad thing to allocate resources to, in my opinion.

Some good ideas here.
