Sound EXTREMELY quiet

I have all the eve client sound settings (under esc > Audio & Chat) to 100% and my system settings are such that everythign else is at a good volume, yet eve sound is extremely quiet, like 5% what it should be. I can still just about make out sounds, music etc so I know there IS sound, but not enough of it.

What do?

(Already run repair tool to no effect).

I have the same problem. And I put a petition 4 days ago, but i dont have request. Ugh

Are you running skype or any other voice chat program? If you are, windows automatically will lower the system volume in relation to the voice chat volume. You can alter this behavior in the windows microphone settings somewhere.

Did some digging. I haven't found the cause but for some reason in the "Volume Mixer" EVE had been dropped down to 4%.

I'll keep an eye on this and post if it changes again (and hopefully see what did it).
