Because the launcher F |_| C |< n sucks: an idea

On the other hand i must concurr with you though, its a pain in the ass how this game updates when you're not using the launcher, it doesnt allow to update 2 different installations at the same time, and there are so many steps and things it must do just to get a 1,6MB patched that it can be quite frustrating.

Also the launcher has the option of exporting the patch to use on another installation, I've tried to use this on big patches but it doesnt work, when on the second installation launcher i import the patch it does nothing, it keeps downloading what it was, and that's a pain in the crak, on other words, this quite much useful feature doesn't work.

I must admint however, that this is the only issue I've ever had with the launcher in question here, no weird disconnects on black screens or anything, the only reason I don't use it is because the launcher makes the task on loging in much slower: the launcher must load up, i must type my **** in, then it must launch the game, when on the other hand, i just launch the game, type my **** in, and here I go baby !

So it's less cynical design and more you being inefficient.

Then again, they have already solved that problem quite nicely…

The Launcher takes no effort. I Launch multiple accounts on multiple screens using them...simples.

Unless your a mac user then I can understand your pain...theres no iLauncher branded launcher
