Go to Amarr instead.

I agree. It's a little harder than usual. Takes 25 seconds to log in to Jita.

Remove standings and insurance.

or just spam jump+enter for a few seconds ... but sure you take the 9 or so jumps to amarr .. Lol

I think that currently Hek is the most fun. It's a 0.5 so there is maximum high-sec ganking, also the Amarr Militia sometimes goes in and tanks the faction navy and kills people.

Put Tidi in Jita, people will stop choosing to go there when it takes them 2 hours to warp a freighter from the gate!

So apart from a few exceptions, we're all agreeing to the same basic principle of go somewhere else. Because, about 20 minutes ago, I tried to get into Jita on my alt. I landed on gate and no word of a lie, had more than 30 ships on my overview just sitting at the gate.

Naturally, I just decided to head for the next highest volume trade hub, which is Amarr. But why do people sit around waiting on that gate in Perimeter, and then I come on the forums and find threads complaining about being ganked there and having to wait etc etc. I mean, I would understand if you have assets there you need to get hold of, that would be a bum deal. But it's not like you can't get that same stuff somewhere else, is it?

The game is advertised that you don't have to wait. Its advertised that 4000 people can be in the same system having epic space battles. And then they go to Jita to buy ships on a saturday afternoon to find that 2K people can't cram into a system in the middle of the afternoon, meanwhile CCP is tweetfleeting another epic 4K man brawl in 0.0 while so and so's freighter is stuck in a customs queue to enter the main trade hub.

Sure people can go elsewhere. Point is they shouldn't have to, and they shouldn't have to wait in line either.

Let the locals in Perimeter know that I am not logged in the game. Once the pilgrims know that they cannot accomplish what they came to Jita for, they will turn away, and Jita will return to a more manageable population.

That wouldn't be a bad idea tbh. A Jita pass that would allow you x amount of time in Jita to conduct your business and then get the hell out.

One hour pass - 5 million ISK

Three hour pass - 2 million ISK

Five hour pass - 500,000 ISK

Pilots who were born in Jita or have an office in Jita would not have to pay for a pass.


Another idea would be to get some miners and researchers together form a corp of about twenty members and build up a a new system of trade that is not Rens, Hek, Amarr, Dodixie, or Jita.

When selling items at the new trade hubs the price should be comparable to the major trade hubs so as to steal their business away from them slightly so that there is less of a traffic jam.
