Route Savepoints - In the spirit of the ISIS Chart System

While trolling the Help Chat earlier, I wasn't really trolling I am still nub at sum things and needed help, another pilot, Khura Shau, asked if a route could be saved.

The idea for an ISIS Route Chart would rather simple to create.

First the pilot would plot the route they were taking with the Star Map where the route would then be saved in ISIS format.

Once saved in ISIS Format the pilot could scroll through their ISIS Rolodex of saved routes for each route they had made and planned on taking for future fun.

The ISIS Route Chart would contain all of the information for each system saved along the route when the Route was saved. This information would appear in pop up information bubbles when a system was scrolled over in the ISIS Chart Format but would not remain updated unless another route of the same route was saved and then the function of replace old saved route was selected.

This will allow the pilot to view their route without having to climb through the mess of looking at the Star Map when planning their route.

Each ISIS Route Chart would only be able to be used one time and would remain in the database for a month.

Each ISIS Route Chart would be a database item costing 1,000 ISK to purchase on the market with BPO's costing 450k ISK to purchase to make ISIS Route Charts from.

You realize ISIS stands for Interbus Ship Identification System, right? That has absolutely nothing to do with plotting navigation.

Naming aside, it's a good idea, and something I totally support. Just name it something else and integrate it directly into the starmap screen where it belongs.

It should be similar to bookmarks. You simply set up a series of waypoints and save them. Name them whatever you want. It's silly that we can't do this. Put it in the People and Places tab if you like. Give us an option to right click and 'Set Routes' or something out of that tab.
