OK, you have maxed out your industrialist skills. A whole new array of wardrobe items open up to you in the theme of industrialist-wear. Or research-wear, or miner-wear.

Researchers would get a variety of lab coats.

Miners would get rugged miner's outfits with mining helmets.

Pirates would get eye-patches and a parrot for your shoulder.

etc...

You would have to meet a certain traingin criteria to have these open up for you. And CCP would have to do some serious clothing designing to make this work.

I want my guristas bunny ears and i want them now.

Aslo, I would like those cool Captains hats that you see officers in the navy wear on their dress uniforms.

e: I really think the NEX store would have had more potential if they went for some more off-the-wall looks. Most of the clothing is boring.

+1 - I think this needs its own thread.

Miners will put on wonderful black reflective material that glistened like coal or graphite with realistic-looking fake flames.

To be quite honest, the only reason I spent 3.4b on my splendid Silvershore coat is because the description talked about it being worn by explorers.

Therefore, this gets a +1 from me.

I'd like to see more wardrobe items but I don't want CCP to spend valuable development resources on them.
Solution: outsource the development of EVE character clothing. Hand out basic schematics and file formats, and let players and fans make the clothing and submit it. Review the submissions and pick good ones, tweak em a bit to make sure they're worthy of the game, then toss em in and slap a price tag on em. Wouldn't cost too much in development resources for how much content would be drawn in.

FT Diomedes: "Reaver, sometimes I wonder what you are thinking when you sit down to post."

Frostys Virpio: "We have to give it to him that he does put more effort than the vast majority in his idea but damn does it sometime come out of nowhere."

+1 to this. I'd like something better than the traditional sterling shirts for FW; special officer clothing and something showing medals and lapels would be awesome; I'd even settle for a hat.

Yup. I like the idea not necessarily the examples, but yes, more variety.

We need to get CCP release the rest of the existing clothing first. Its all there in client and would not take much dev time at all to release.

Give the designer a cut of the proceeds and that should encourage players to get involved.

Hell yeah! I should be able to spent some of my LP to get the Divine Commador pin on me!

Honestly they need more stuff in nex. Even if they just added in 3 to 5 things every expansion. Some of them pleased in the expansion. Would be cool and not take up to much time

And they can have arm tattoos of an exploding freshly ganked mining barge.

Dumbing down of Eve Online will result in it's destruction...
