Dominix visual changes

Did a brief search, but turned up nothing... any chance the Dominix will get a visual overhaul any time soon? I really like the ship on paper, but a space whale/shoe is just too much ugliness.

Dominix is of the classic gallente "caveman-club" design tree. Shared by the Exequror, Brutix, Erebus and to a lesser extent, the Comet and Vexor (while much sexier looking still share the "heavy front tiny back" aesthetic). I dont think she should be changed.

Anyway - the Dominix is her own sexy kind of ugly. Kinda like the Mona Lisa - weird but enchanting at the same time.

The Domi is iconic, and I have always liked it since I first started playing, I doubt it will be changed.

I've said it before... and i'll say it again... for one of the most well-known drone ships and not even having a visible drone bay... well... yeah. At the very least, please add a visible drone bay.

TL;DR If you didn't read the entire post perhaps you're probably ADHD. (seek help)

If a dev ever even thinks about doing a visual update for the dominix i shall personally start a "save the potato" charity campaign.

Since the ship hull update a few years ago I think it is actually a very attractive ship. Really fits in with the Gallente look (as was mentioned earlier).

The only thing I would say (and it has been a while since I have flown one so I could be off on this) but the exhaust glow (whatever you call it). Is pretty weak for a ship that big. Beef that up and maybe addres the lack of a visible drone bay is fine but I would leave the overall shape of the ship.

Discussed this with a mate last night.

I am all for them releasing updated versions of the ship designs (such as an MKII domi). Absolutely 100% same stats as the original just with a slightly refined/altered looks.

All you would need is a creation date on BPCs, BPOs and ships and the game would be able to assign the appropriate model to whatever gets produced or what is being flown.

My two cents. I want to see a less ugly Domi, but I agree that the current one has an odd sort of dignity in its ugliness.

Also, Celestis and Navitas. Ugly!
